DCPAC 2018 Year End Show: Once Upon A Time Arianna had 3 numbers in her show this weekend for DCPAC's annual year end show. This year the theme was Once Upon A Time.

It’s been 10 years since I started this adventure, but lately I never have the time to sit here and blog anymore. With the new GDPR regulations coming next week I have no choice but to shut down. I’ve enjoyed maintaining my own site for some time, learned a lot, but I can’t risk getting sued over some overly complicated regulations that I don’t have time or money to keep track of.

Arianna’s school held another Father’s Day party this year. We were all treated to fancy neckties the kids made, some much needed play time, and a nice clean shave! Arianna and I had fun playing on the playground and eating lunch together. She did a pretty good job giving me a shave too! She also made a book for me, with all the pages hand written by herself. She did an amazing job for me and I can’t wait to make some more room in my office for all this great stuff.

Arianna's Pre-K Graduation Well that's it, our kid is officially getting older. We can no longer live in denial. Today was Arianna's Pre-K graduation from Stepping Stones, where she's been attending since she was 2 years old.

I guess Arianna was a good girl this year because boy was Santa Claus very generous this Christmas. Arianna loved all her gifts and had such a great time. This year was even better watching her get super excited about presents under the tree in the morning and coming to tell us that Santa came. We had a great two days with family, extending this wonderful holiday.

Our current streak of keeping the kid alive continues! 4 years and counting. Can’t believe she’s this old already. School starts next year, she’s out of the terrible threes, and she is more and more like a grown girl. Time needs to slow down a bit, feel like I’m missing out on things since she’s advancing at an alarming rate now. Anyway, today was a great day for everyone. Good times with the family for Arianna’s birthday. Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate with us. So glad I got the pinata, watching 2 kids under 4 beat the crap out of it was the highlight of the day.

This year we all decided to bring the kids to Frosty Fest to see the lights. Each year we passed by it multiple times a day and Arianna would always ask to go see them. Thanks to Jess’ parents we got to go this year. Despite the horrible windchill and freezing temperatures, we all had a great night. All the kids enjoyed seeing the displays and running around. Great job by everyone over at Headless Horseman for putting together this great family event.

Finally this kid got to use her snow suit! All last year Arianna was either sick when it snowed, or it melted before she could enjoy it. Today we suited her up and ran around outside. She immediately jumped into the snow and made a snow angel! We enjoyed many snowball fights and built a few snowmen before everyone got too cold. Even built a nice fire to keep us warm. Another great day with Arianna!

Happy Halloween Everyone! We went over to Jess’ Aunt and Uncle’s house again this year to celebrate this fun holiday. Alyssa was there too so we got to spend the night with Ethan and Logan for his first Halloween. Arianna loved her witch costume and was really into going up to the houses this year. If it wasn’t so cold we would’ve been out all night.
