Whimsy Stories Legacy Challenge Converted from TS4 for TS3

I was looking at challenges again and saw this one and thought it was a pretty cool legacy challenge to play except it was for TS4. Well not anymore…

Whimsy Stories Legacy Challenge is a TS4 legacy challenge created by @kateraed where simmers who wish to be more involved in their sims lives with compelling storytelling as well as expand their gameplay through this challenge. Original rules can be found here.

I take no credit for this challenge except the conversion for TS3. Some of the stuff in TS4 is not applicable to TS3 (vice versa) so some changes were made to fit for TS3 gameplay.

Annie shoots Garrity with a prop gun, which sets off a chain of everyone freaking out, pulling out more fake guns, and shooting each other as each layer of the characters conspiring against each other gets revealed. at the end of the scene, a security guard comes in and shoots Garrity again. Annie, Jeff, and Dean Pelton scream. the security guard then reveals that this was another conspiracy between himself and Garrity to teach them all a lesson. in the days since the finale leak, all i keep wondering is how a piece of media like iwtv of all things seems to have attracted a large majority fanbase consisting of people who are desperate to view every part of the show (down to the actual actors and writers, which is grim beyond words) through a victim/abuser mindset. it kills me that we’re in this tenderqueer era of faux-counter-culture media consumption where the most easily offended people on the planet are willing to watch a show with graphic violence, incest, and abuse, but only if they can easily parse who’s right and who’s wrong in every scene and relationship, as if that’s even close to the point of it all. and to then have the audacity to not just object to that, but also to be up in arms over cruel shit the characters are saying to each other? in the fictional universe they all exist in as terrible, awful people? the game is so, so gone. if you would like to watch something that doesn’t challenge your black-and-white moral framework in even the slightest way, can i suggest daytime TV? i’ve also heard that children’s books tend to clearly lay out their moral lesson in the final few pages lest you get confused and think the author condones the big bad wolf eating grandma, which may provide a clarity some of you are in such desperate need of
