a lesson i learned this year is that a person's capacity for growth is directly linked to how much truth they can face about themselves without running away
me, wise: part of what makes the pitt such a special show is because there is really no romance. it isn’t a soap opera, characters can have tension and history, but ultimately these are doctors in their place of work. we intentionally know very little about their personal lives.
me, desperate: one kiss between the big pitt and the little pitt wouldn’t hurt
(( he got our mouse boy so stressed lmao ))
Me on the last episode: You know, I think The Pitt is a truly fantastic show. It shows you how fucked up the American healthcare system can be, how some people prefer profit to caring for patients and how doctors are often used as scapegoats for problems that were truly beyond their control. I like that it doesn't focus on one or more romantic relationships because that would make the show fall into familiar clichés.
Me also on the last episode: Ok so when are the two Big Doctors going to put their hands on the Little Doctor.
what Work is the most important? the work you have to do next. narrow the scope of focus down to that singular glittering point.
How to get out of a rut
Honestly fuck AI for making me have to go on and on defending the dignity of toil like I’m some kind of protestant
imagine you’re a paramedic and the chief of the trauma centre you’re driving to cuts you on his slutty little bike while he’s riding it with no helmet
