Anelle the Wizard
My husband and I are currently playing Daggerheart with some friends. His character is a fairy named Anelle, who is a wizard and also a gardener and the caretaker of a large sacred tree.
As a gift, I drew Anelle in her study!

Hey tumblr lovelies
I have not been consistently posting here at all. I’m not sure if I’ll ever get to that point. But I’m choosing not to stress about it.
Anyway!
This is a drawing I’m very proud of! I hope you like it too!

Meet the Artist!
It’s been a while since I last made one of these intros, and they are just too fun. So! Hi, I’m Hannah. I’m a freelance illustrator, bird-watcher, rabbit-owner, music lover, enthusiast for life, optimist, and many more things. I really love to make art and I really love animals and I really love sweet drinks like lemonade. I really love a lot of people and a lot of things and I plan to keep loving and making art for the rest of my life.

The Pokémon Trading Card Game has an annual art contest. Last year, I created two illustrations to enter in the contest (there was a limit of three entries per artist.) There was a short list of Pokémon to choose from, and the theme “Magical Pokémon Moments.” It was also a requirement not to share or post the art made for the contest until results were posted. They recently shared the results of the first round of eliminations, so I’m safe to share my entries now! There were almost 11,000 entries, and they just posted the top 300. I was very disappointed for a while after I saw I didn’t make it. I really need to step up my game and improve my skills. I’ll enter again next year!

I started this drawing on stream the other day and here is the finished illustration. I have loved birdwatching since I was a kid and I still love it. I get so giddy when I can identify birds on a trail, and so I love to draw them too!

Jungle Numbers!
By author Libby Dee, Jungle Numbers is a cute and wholesome counting book that follows Twiggy the Monkey as he learns to count from 1 to 10! I’m so grateful I was able to illustrate this book, out now on Amazon! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CYWG6JTZ?ref_=cm_sw_r_ud_dp_RJIIP33LXZFDBRLBLCEX

Laurel and Red
I’m officially a children’s book illustrator!!!
“From writer Kelley M Likes and illustrator Hannah Staley-Foster comes a heartwarming tale for young readers about standing together in the face of challenges.
In the magical Redwood Forest, Laurel, a little Bay Laurel tree, forms an unlikely friendship with Red, a towering Redwood tree. The other Redwoods disapprove, but when a storm hits, Laurel’s roots prove crucial in supporting Red. Through bravery and friendship, they weather the storm and learn that unity is the true strength of the forest.”
I’ve been working toward being a picture book illustrator for years and this is a dream come true. I am already working on other book projects, so I’m ecstatic that future posts will talk about the “latest” books I’ve illustrated instead of the “first” book I’ve illustrated.
Laurel and Red can be found at likespublishing.com, as well as online at Amazon or Barnes & Noble!
Hello, young prince💛🦌
Bambi is a comfort movie for me. I watch it to feel calm and quiet. It makes me so happy. I’ve been meaning to make fan art for this movie for a very long time.
