[Spoilers for The One Piece anime/manga]
I have very normal thoughts about this scene, aside from the fact that I can't stop thinking about it and how it re-frames Luffy and Usopp's future conflict in Water 7
Thinking of Usopp fresh-off being kicked out of the crew, about how in Little Garden he felt alone surrounded by deadly assassins on a stranger Island where he doesn't know where his crew is, but now he's in a peaceful city and his crew are right there and yet he's still alone...
Do you think he remembered how even terrified out of his mind and needing someone to tell him it's going to be okay and yet he did that for Luffy and tried his best to comfort him and lift him up yet when he needed it again Luffy wasn't there and it wasn't because of the paint? Of how he might think Luffy may have not been as close to him as he thought? Of how he told Luffy "You never give up!" yet from his prespective Luffy gave up on the Merry? On him?
And Luffy, terrified and trapped in his own mind forced to sink into despair and still Usopp believed in him and never doubted him and now when it came time for him to return the favor he couldn't and there was no magical hypnosis involved this time? Of how Usopp compared them to Shanks and Yassop and yet Luffy shattered that image for both of them?
Do you think he remembers Usopp leaving him promising to be back and how he apologized after Usopp was long gone, and of how the tables turned and he left Usopp for good and yet the apology was still left unheard..
I don't think 4+ years is enough prep-time for me folks.
The Shuggy discourse resurfacing after the latest chapter is so funny to me, like...should Gaban have said "you and Buggy were like a son and a Son-in-Law to us" or something 😭😭😭😭
Just woke up and this has pre-made my day.
*Gets mildly curious about thing*
Me: Ehhh, I'm not going to get actually invested so spoilers shouldn't be a problem.
*Gets completely and irreversibly hooked to thing after spoiling it all for myself*
Me: Well, shit...
I want to Thank Otto Hightower for proving that you can be a scheming and manipulative politician and patriarch and have Wet Cat Energy and Pathetic and Disheveled Meow Meow Vibes.
Get you a man who can do both.
if you crack an egg and a duck comes out, you don't get to be disappointed because you imagined it would be a chicken.
it's not the duckling's fault you mis-sorted it with the chicken eggs
But my omelette :(
Oh shit. No. Shit. Thank you
Just gonna reblog this out of gratitude because I actually did forget…
Fffffffff let me get right on that.
and then reblog for the next forgetful son of a bitch
I’m so great full for everyone that is reblogging this. I totally forgot to take mine
I think that there is some sort of unspoken fairy godparent thing where you see this, realize that you forgot your meds, and rebagel it because if you forgot someone else must have. And in our turn we all take care of each other, even if we don’t know it.
Do eye drops count? anyway rebloging cause someone somewhere might need this.
"Devil, " you call me
But seems to be enjoying
The fruits of my labour that came to me too young
When he stole my virtue
I'm glad it seems to serve you
That I was born a daughter and not a son

Whumpee was unconscious for most of their rescue. The last thing they remember is getting slammed against the wall of their cell, the world dissolving into darkness with a horrible crack.
They feel hands on them, pushing hair from their face. Their eyes shoot open, but they can’t bring themselves to move—they’re far too startled by the stranger with soft eyes looking down at them.
“You’re okay, try to stay still.” They adjust Whumpee’s pillow for them—they couldn’t remember the last time they had a pillow—and lean back to give them space. “We got you out, you’re gonna be fine.”
roommate who has not and will never read fire and blood just looked over at me and said “blood and cheese? those are nonbinary names for real” and went back to work without knowing the gravity of what they just said…..
who did you think threw the first brick at harrenhal
I literally just woke up and this is the first Tumblr post I stumble upon.
It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or the other.
@melrosing happy secret sansa!!

I Headcanon that Otto's first "Grandpa moment" with the Green kids was right after Alicent tried to take Luke's eye. He just took Aemond to the side, gave him a small sack of Golden Dragons and was like: "Don't tell your Mother".
Haelena: Croissant: dropped.
Aegon: BBQ Sauce: on my tiddies.
Daeron: Shavacado: fre.
Aemond: ms Kiesha: fuckin dead.
Alicent: ...
Alicent, grumpily: I didn't understand a single word of that yet I don't like it one bit.
