Everyone has those bad days.
Hey all,
so something that has recently hit me.... as I mentioned in my very first blog, I have been living a healthy lifestyle, by eating healthy and working out. Yesterday I weighed myself for the first time in about two weeks, and I gained 10 lbs. I’m not entirely sure if its muscle or fat. My clothes don’t seem to be getting tighter, or looser for that matter. I shrugged it off though, knowing I shouldn’t totally rely on the number on the scale. But what really hit me hard was yesterday evening when I went swimsuit shopping. I went to try on two really cute swimsuits from Rue 21, and was completely disgusted. The cellulite on my butt and thighs were gross. I wanted to crawl in a whole and cry.
My boyfriend noticed I was upset and did his best to try and cheer me up. Telling me I was beautiful and sexy, and that I shouldn’t be upset about my body. I was really happy to hear his say those things and it did help me feel better. I just want to feel confident in my body and not feel so self-conscious.
So I decided to switch up my workout routine. Instead of doing three days of lifting and two days of cardio, I am going to do three days of cardio and two days of lifting. Along with every workout I am going to aim to burn at least 500 calories. I won’t stop until I hit that number at least. I also am going to drink more water. I don’t think i was really drinking that much before, maybe 48 oz a day. I think that if I drink more water, that it will help with my cellulite (fingers crossed). I also am going to start tracking my food again.
I really hope i start seeing changes soon.
Ice Cream...
HaHa I bet ya’ll thought I was talking about the delicious dairy treat. Well I do love Ice Cream. But that is not what this blog is going to be about.
A friend at work told about this work out called, the ice cream work out. I won’t lie, it intrigued me. Probably because it had ice cream in the title. I looked it up and decided to give it a try. I linked below the website in which I found the workout.
Givig a quick review of the first work out (workout A) I accidentally did a different version. Still doing the exercises, i just did three sets of different weights at reps. I forgot once i got to the gym that it is a 5x5 work out, meaning you do 5 sets of 5 reps. So I will do that with the second set of exercises given by this workout.

Back Pain=No Gain
Hey all,
so last Wednesday I pulled a muscle in my back (not from working out either) I was at work and must have lifted a heavy box the wrong way. Once I stood up straight it was very painful to move around and even walk. So I used a foam roller and rolled out the muscle for about 10 minutes. When I got home I iced it and took a hot shower. All that helped tremendously, but my back was still not in good shape to work out. My boyfriend actually rubbed my back with the gel stuff the works like bengay and iceyhot together. That made a huge difference.
But needless to say I have not worked out since Wednesday. My back is much better today and tomorrow I am jumping right back into it. This week I’m started a different workout schedule. Instead of lifting every day I want to mix in some cardio in there as well. Try to burn away some of my unwanted fat a little faster. I typically workout 6 days a week with one rest day, but with this new schedule I will be able to allow myself two rest days instead of one. I plan on lifting three days a week, cardio two days a week and resting the other two. Allowing my body to properly reboot and heal. We will see how this goes.
Wish me luck.
xoxo,
CeeCee
First time for Cycling
I participated in my first cycling class this morning. I must say I had high expectations going into it, and it was just as hard as I thought it would be. I am glad that I gave it a try, it challenged me to keep going and not stop. For the whole 45 minutes we cycled to the speed of the music and it was awesome, good music is always a great motivator.
Everything about the class was amazing. The girl who ran the class is really encouraging and showed excitement in the teaching. I have been to boot camps and other classes where the instructor didn’t seem to want to be there, and she was a refreshing and new experience or me.
I of course wore my Fitbit to the class and ended up burning 400 calories during the class. So that in itself is a satisfying result. We will see how my legs feel tomorrow.
Buffy bunny or also known as hiedi somers. Is a huge inspiration for me. And this is perfection.
After two days of legs and then shoulders yesterday, my body needs a rest. I am anxious to get to it. But some days you need to let your body rest.

Leg day, shlegday
This is slightly late of a post but yesterday I did leg day, why I don't kno. Seeing as I ran two miles the day before and my legs are sore in places I didn't know they could.work out consisted of. 20 minute warm up on the Stair master, 3 sets of 10 squats (95lbs) 3 sets of 20 lunges Rdls 3 sets of 10 at 50 lbs I then would lay on my back and put my feet on top of a yoga ball, and lift my butt off the ground and tuck my feet in, that 1lwas also 3 sets of 10 Then split squats 20 lbs 3 sets of 10. Finished off with 3 sets of 10 in the in&out machine working my inner and outer thighs at 110lbs. Needless to say I am walking like a baby giraffe.
You get what you work for.
I will achieve my goals.
Believe.Achieve.Inspire
I Believe that when you work hard at something you really want, you can achieve it. With this blog I plan to post through my fitness journey. To keep myself accountable and motivated.
I started my journey to a healthy lifestyle in October of 2014. But even then I was not eating the cleanest. I had done a program through Herbalife and got results but found myself struggling to afford the products. October of 2014 I started Herbalife for the third time. I was able to keep going with the program until April of 2015. The shakes started to get boring and tasteless. I also was still not eating the greatest for the other meals I was consuming. During that 6 month period, I lost a total of 15lbs. I was happy, but I was also running out of money to spend on the products.
In June of 2015 I got a job and gym and kitchen. Thinking if i surrounded myself with healthy foods and the equipment to work out, I would have no excuse but to do it. It took me until about September to fully get into the swing of working out everyday, but I had no idea what to do. I started going to Youtube for information and help. That is when I found two channels that helped me get started. BuffBunny (Heidie Sommers) and Nikki Blackketter. They both are lifters and many of their videos helped educate me on what to eat, work out routines, and other helpful tips. I also started asking the trainers at work a lot of questions, and got a lot of advice.
the past 5 months I haven’t really changed in weight. I still want to lose 20 more pounds, and tone up. So this week I am starting a new diet plan and work out routines. I am fully committing myself to achieving my goal, and hopefully inspiring others along the way.
I am done with giving up, and not trying hard enough. Today is the day I stop making excuses and push myself.
