If they add any new songs to the Tangled Musical, at what point in the film do you think theyāll add a song?
I can almost guarantee you that they'll add songs. I've never seen a Disney Broadway adaptation that didn't include new songs.
I'm sure they're reinsert "When Will My Life Begin (Reprise 1)," and I don't know where exactly they might add new stuff, but I did conceive of a song added to the campfire scene, where Eugene talks about being an orphan and getting into this book and becoming Flynn Rider because it all seemed like the better option. I know that Alan Menken and Glenn Slater have previously talked about Eugene keeping his emotions close to the vest, and not being the sort to burst into emotional song (which is why, in the movie, he has the one forced verse of I've Got a Dream and doesn't have any other songs until I See the Light, when his emotion finally gets to be too much for him), but how is the revelation of his true self not emotional?
The cruise musical has the entire prologue as a song ("Flower of Gold"), Flynn's introduction ("Wanted Man") and Kingdom Dance was turned into a song, instead ("When She Returns"), not to mention new reprises of established songs from the movie and one of "Flower of Gold/When She Returns".
Based on this, I would love a Flynn Rider intro song, maybe one by Gothel after she gets Rapunzel back, a mournful one by the king and queen as they go to lift the lantern on her 18th birthday, and maybe a song for Kingdom Dance if they also incorporate the tune from Kingdom Dance (I do like "When She Returns," but I missed having the Kingdom Dance tune itself). Maybe something when Eugene is racing off to Rapunzel's rescue? Or, like, a mashup of several previous songs?
This is really interesting. This is the one map we have drawn at a different angle, and
it implies that Corona is actually northwest of the Spire, rather than southwest, and that that was their direction of travel all along.
However
the implication here is that the break in the wall (just outside of Old Corona) faced west, rather than east.
(Also, I know the Doylist reason is because "Race to the Spire" was developed well after "Keeper of the Spire" was written, but there's no in-universe reason why they shouldn't have encountered Kresten Loch before.)

Tangledās 15th Anniversary āļø
How do you think the story would have gone without Cassandra? Maybe Adira would found about Rapunzel and her story before the rocks found the Sundrop? Quirin wouldn't have been trapped? There wouldn't have been a battle that led Frederic to let Rapunzel go, what do you think she would have done then? Still followed Adira to the Dark Kingdom?
While I would have loved to see more Adira, I don't see why Cassandra's absence would have made Adira find Rapunzel in the tower. (The rocks found the Sundrop flower six months before Rapunzel left the tower after all.) Nor do I think Cassandra's absence would have stopped Rapunzel from meeting Varian. She just would have found him through different means.
Now, I'm just spitballing this whole thing, but I'm speculating that, without Cassandra, it would be Eugene who snuck Rapunzel out of the palace when she was feeling so stir crazy, possibly as an apology for proposing when she wasn't ready. In this AU, she'd have still been in her room when he came to talk and they'd have been able to hash all of that out and understand one another better much earlier. So Rapunzel and Eugene go past the wall together, find the marker for where the Sundrop was, and the rocks, Rapunzel touches them, grows her hair back, etc. The rest of TBEA goes basically the same, only now Eugene doesn't have that whole "Rapunzel is keeping secrets from me" thing that lingered through the rest of the movie and the first ep, because he was there for it and is one of the ones keeping it secret.
Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure Seasons 2 and 3 have FINALLY been added to Disney+ UK!
I'm not sure if it has been added in other countries as well.
I still do not regret buying the The Complete Series on bluray from ebay though.
Do you have pictures from Rapunzelās journal letting down my hair book or the craft book?
I assume by "the craft book" you mean Rapunzel's Guide to All Things Brave, Creative & Fun. And yes I do. I have every illustration from it. But Tumblr only allows ten images per post, so I'll pick ten of my faves.
Have you seen Tangled (the movie) a zillion times? Do you have it memorized backwards and forwards? Would you like a refreshing way to watch it that makes it feel new again? Hereās what I do!
The next time you watch it, pick a character - a main character whoās often on screen - and focus all your attention on them. Donāt let your gaze shift to the other players. Watch their small, subtle reactions to things happening.
Last night, as I watched Tangled for the 11th anniversary, I caught a couple little character reactions Iād never seen before because I chose not to focus where I usually do. Paying attention to Pascal when the cameraās not focused on him has made me appreciate him in the movie a lot more. There is so much extra story told in the little things, itās a fun way to see the movie with new eyes.
