Spent the week in the mountains. It was a great break and think we really needed it. Very stress free and quiet. The weather was perfect. Retirement can’t come soon enough. I can get use to the leisure life!

The Christmas card writing has begun. I honestly don’t remember sending any cards last year. I don’t remember a whole lot of Christmas last year. Somehow I felt like we should celebrate a little bit more this year. I feel more of the spirit. So after Thanksgiving, our tree went up. This is probably the first time ever that the tree has gone up that early.

It’s Saturday and I worked most of the morning in the shop, putting jewelry back where I belong and adding a few items to the website. Greg had to work today. We had planned to do some shopping and go out to lunch but something happened at the plant so he had to spend the day at work. I was highly motivated this morning and getting things done but then after lunch, I started getting tired and I ended up taking a little nap. It was raining this morning and very gloomy and cold, but the sun has finally made its appearance.

Well, so much for keeping a diary. This should be my New Year’s resolution! Write daily!!

Not much on the agenda today. Pack up sales and get them in the mail today. Later going to a brewery. They are having a market sale today. Hopefully they will have a food truck as well.

Our little tree is up. Sure does not feel like Christmas at all . Is it weird to hang our stockings from the booze cart?

Cheese Curds. Somehow the word curd does not sound very appetizing to me. I needed something non-carb to eat while I was at the grocery store and grab these. They are actually quite good. I still think the word curd sounds gross, just saying.
