My god I cried like a baby. The story itself was an interesting retelling of The Phantom of the Opera, but the way she writes about mental illnesses.
It was like reading my own thoughts at some point. Feeling like you can't trust yourself or what is real, and even the reverence we hold our routines that keep us together, it all felt like a mirror.
Amazing work by an amazing author!

This is another one of my favorite authors. I love their writing style and so I will always recommend their work!
With that out of the way. Here is my take away from this book itself.
I really understand where the MC comes from in her situation. When I was younger, I had a young man stalk me. Everything the MC says about feeling exposed is how I felt. It took a very long time and a lot of therapy to get where I am today, and I love that this book did such a good job portraying this issue.
