Rest is important and we all need it. If you periodically rest you'll avoid burnout, stay healthy with lower stress, & refill your cup before you can give. Take time to do nothing or what you enjoy. Give yourself permission to let go and rest.

BTW I wrote a blog post on Evolving in Your Art Style VS Social Media for all the artists out there. I'm personally taking a break from social media to rest & play/experiment.

Life can be unpredictable and scary sometimes and it’s ok to feel the way you feel. Take time to process your emotions and practice self care and self compassion. Like all things... this too shall pass! & you’ll come out stronger!

Even if things fall apart around you, you can always take a nice deep breath and feel better. Take a deep breath in through your nose, really fill up your lungs. Hold it for a few seconds. Exhale all your tension out through your mouth… every last bit. It’s ok to sigh and make noise. Just let it out. Do it again until you are calm. All better. Now go do the thing you think you can’t do, because I guarantee you that you are so much stronger and more capable than you think!
