Death is not the end..it's just another path in life we all must take..

You were perfect.

My last memory of you was the morning I went to Vancouver. I didn’t let go of you all morning. And when it was time to say goodbye it was so horrible but deep down I thought I would see you again. I remember driving away and Martin lifting you up to the window to save goodbye. I took one last look in. I don’t know if I would have wanted to know it would be the last time I set eyes on you. Maybe I would never have left.

Every time I came home from Galway, you’re welcome was what I looked forward to the most. Driving in the gates and hearing you bark and then cry because you knew mum and dad were home. And I would always wait outside just for a minute so you run out and meet me. And it was always worth it. You going crazy and jumping up on me like I was the best person ever. Only you could ever make me feel that good about myself. That no matter what I did you would always be there and have the same greeting for me. You showed everyone such love. And anyone that met you, even if they didn’t like dogs, were taken in by you and your ferocious little personality.

Every time I see a video of you it just brings tears to my eyes. But I treasure this videos. Lasting memories of you

The hardest part was not getting a goodbye..you were my best friend and home will never be the same
