I’ll probably move Symbolic Attack to its own Tumblr if I continue the series (which I’d like to, but it’s just a matter of finding the time/energy).
There! Within a year of the last update, just.
I’m actually super-busy with life right now, but know that I have a story and that I want to tell it to you, so there’s at least a chance I’ll get this going again. I mean, I have lots of stories in my head that I’d dearly like to tell, but this is the main Filly one, and it’s already 17 pages in.
The Filly Stars set is pretty exciting story-wise, I like it! Here's something of a tribute to that. Also to show I'm not dead on Tumblr, haha... Hopefully I'll get Symbolic Attack back on track soon!
Don't worry/get your hopes up, this isn't a grimdark story!

Well, November 1st where I am (I still need to work on drawing fast), but it's Halloween somewhere so I put extra time into finishing this now.

I can confirm that the portrait is not foreshadowing, just me trying for slightly less boring backgrounds with a nod to the Rose-standing-on-a-hill clip we've seen.
Next update may not be tomorrow as I need to rethink a bit of the upcoming events.
Did everyone see that Funtasia Daily got exclusive teaser footage? So exciting!
Anywho, time for this pair to go find situations more exciting than the struggle to get a normal response out of Faril!
(I figured the characters should talk to each other whilst not being chased by a logo-monster.)
The real Filly Funtasia looks to be full of beautifully designed corridors, and I draw them like this... Ah well. Still working on finding the right style/time balance for art. Maybe I can consider other stuff once I get the main bit right!

(Comic's a day late because I spent yesterday working on my rough script for this comic. Now it's still rough but it's better!)
I'm doing fine and kept trying to do a bunch of these ready in advance to cover my next few updates, but that didn't go well, so... I'm just going to try to get back to Monday and Friday updates and see how it goes.
Expect a drop in art quality while I (a) get back into it and (b) try to make it quicker to help keep the story moving. Much slower and I risk the series starting first!
