like. three of our irls have our tumblr now. this is terrifying. maybe i'm actually going to have to post some posts

it's so bad because we all have these incredible comic ideas but the old host ( 🎵 ) was the only one here who can actually DRAW so it's an incredibly slow and painful process actually realising them. add on the fact that our day has gotten maybe 3 hours shorter since we've had to start going to sleep at like ten pm (chronic fatigue yay....) we do NOT have time. every day it's like "maybe if we lock in..."

question: who should be at the club rn?

oooooo there are so many answers to this so here's a few:

dacian and harper (OCtives. they should have been at the club in source and now it continues into their second lifespan in this system. hopefully they stick around and they can finally get to be young adults instead of like. traumatised dystopian protagonists /silly)

cassie (who's really complicated because she's in a subsystem, and the subsystem is a fictive. in their source, SHE was a fictive from a media made up by the author that doesn't actually exist in the real world. so. now she's a fictive but from nothing in particular. ANYWAY she's an awesome lesbian with a southern drawl and belongs in a gay bar)

and of course arden, he was a party animal in source but is gonna have to live that out through energy drink all-nighters for another few years 😞😞😞 (he's another one from the same subsystem as cassie) (they're the lanes system collectively)

it's so surreal finally setting down after a system reset. like. the old host is dead. it's a weird sort of grief because there's a part of them inside you still, but that doesn't really help with the fact that every day you see their face in the mirror. when you move through the world, you do it in their body. you're cleaning their room (yours now) and throwing out things that must have been important at some point but you no longer remember. at the dinner table nobody else notices they're gone. their friends are yours now and you have to somehow get to know them again without them realising that they don't know you. all you can do is pick up the mess that your ex-self left behind and try to keep living the life they started. you know?

Hello, I saw your post about grieving source partners and just wanted to drop in to say that I'm also experiencing something similar and it helps to know that I'm not alone. I'm an oc-introject so I can't hope to find other source introjects out there and it's... lonely.

very unexpected feeling to actually get a response to this. good unexpected though! i'm very glad that someone else is in the same place so that we're not in it by ourselves.
