Hey everyone,

If anyone's been reading these scarce posts, you should know that I've been trying to focus on writing experiment gone wrong, but must admit, I've lost a bit of interest and I got myself back into drarry so I've plunged myself back into T4ATM as it's a behemoth, and I've not touched it since Feb 2024 (that made me feel ill).

Just broadly so people know, I have altered the first two chapters of the rewrite ever so slightly, there was just some wording that sounded off and I felt compelled to fix it, some general errors and then I've removed Luna and updated the links to my Tumblr.

I will say now, it's probably not gonna get any updates in the near future either because I had a look at the plan I made for the whole of the fic (that I had boasted about in my first chapter of the rewrite) and I realised that some of the notes are so incomprehensible, and its 37k words worth of it, that it would be difficult for me to go through again. That, and I based the story off the movies.

I had the idea a while ago to base T4ATM off the books, and I was sort of doing that in book 3 (I'd bought it and was broadly following it from there), but I didn't make the rewrite plan with that mindset, and just used the extensive notes I got from the movies.

So! This big spiel is just to let you know that I've rebought all 7 books, and I'm going to annotate and mark the fuck out of them, so I can rewrite the plot properly this time!! I don't have a timescale, because I'm stick knees deep into my studies, but since it's my current obsession, I am hyperfixated on getting this done! So hopefully it's not just a ton of background work and you guys actually see something.

I'll keep you guys updated on the progress of both experiment gone wrong and the twins, the triangle and the magic here, but for now I'm off to re-read my entire story and then read all 7 books... Cya.

Hey!

A quick update for those who are still interested in my fics:

Uni has officially started, and I've spent the months before Uni trying to get ahead, so that I don't fall behind while I am still working full-time, it's been arduous, but I'm not trying to get ahead anymore, I'm only trying to stay on track, which is still a bit difficult, and it's taking up a lot of my time.

I am currently on holiday and away from work for a few days to enjoy some time out with my friends, so I am getting a little bit behind on my Uni work, but nothing that'll be too difficult to catch up on if I put the hours in.

I've had a lot of inspiration to start writing again (I'd hit a wall with Experiment Gone Wrong and then stopped trying once I got my Uni material), but I am struggling to figure out what to write, I've been getting back into multiple ships recently, and not all of them relate to the funny skeletons.

Suffice to say while my ongoing fics is still Experiment Gone Wrong in whatever free time I can muster, I am looking at writing other fics in the background, and finishing them before I start posting them, so that you don't have to wait an eternity, like I have done with all of these fics... I do apologise for that haha.

I've gotta go head out now, but hopefully I'll see seeing you all soon! Cya for now.

Been thinking about putting all of my work on that AO3 account-only mode to keep it from being used from AI companies, but not sure if I should take the plunge because I know people like to just use the website without getting an account. :/

If people have advice pls let me know! I want to make sure people can read my work, but I also want to keep it safe.

I've finished the prologue; I've rewritten it almost entirely, so if you want to read it, I highly suggest re-reading it when I've either finished re-writing, or reading the re-writes as I go :) Even when you're subscribed, it doesn't give you a notification when an edit's been made, so I'll do my best to post updates here.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Just a small update, I've gotten some materials for my degree (which technically hasn't started yet) so I'm taking the opportunity to try and get ahead (so I can keep up with everything!) So notes got a little slower.

I have finished going through all of the notes now, some were not made for certain characters (though I will admit they are more background) and I've finally gotten through a lot of the original chapter-by-chapter explanation I made.

This NEEDS to be reworked, simply because I'm planning on putting a lot more content in, as it originally focuses on Ink's memories and not everyone's, and I made memories for everyone interacting with everyone and goddammit I will use that!!

SO, other than a family event I have and work from the 29th until New Year... I will be trying to rework AND make the rewrite of the Prologue, so you can get a taster for what may have changed (though I won't change the core plot, and overall there hasn't been THAT many changes).

I'm going to bed now (I need sleep, and my medication), so I will see you guys soon! I'm not the most active author, but if you have any asks I will answer them whenever I can, thanks all :)

Experiment Gone Wrong...? Notice!

I spent a good chunk of yesterday going through all of my notes (as mentioned in a previous post) and as with all of the other fics, I am re-writing this fic, again.

Why? That's a good question. For those who don't know there are memories which are explored in the fic i crossed some of them out to the point I couldn't see them, so I had a quick look through the fic to start looking through all the memories (so I could put them in my newer notes). Not only do i think, looking back on most of them, that the memories aren't really that great, but I also noticed one big thing.

I used to break often, it's really evident in the party chapter and it drove me up the wall a bit while I was going through things, which is probably not great for those reading either.

What will I be getting?

I am editing, and rewriting the fic, to ensure a better experience for you!

I will be keeping mostly everything, but I am changing a couple things (like memories that hasn't been seen yet, better structuring chapters, etc)

Chapters will be longer!!

I am going to re-plan the entire fic to ensure that not only do I hit every memory (as they are essential to the plot), but I am making them longer for those who like them!

Before, I was sort of half-assing it, and I wasn't really editing properly, so not only is the second draft of this fic is getting a much-needed face lift, this will be the last time I fuck around with it. I can promise you that.

When will I be getting this? Good question. Since I work a full-time job and in January I am finally starting my degree, it probably won't be at the bi-weekly pace I was doing my best to manage for Mission: Return Home. I'm not going to promise anything time wise, because I won't hold myself to it, but please know that this fic is now my top priority, I'm not working on any other writing project until this is done!

I have managed to write 4 chapters in 3 days!! No idea how, and the epilogue doesn't necessarily meet the 2k criteria, but I think it's pretty!

Since I can barely wait for shit, I'm gonna be altering the tags on Mission: Return Home and then posting the final chapter of the fic. It's a small fic, but it's been on my list for a really long time, and it's a great little story.

I've learnt a lot from it when it comes to trying to burn a slowburn (which I very much struggle to do) and I'm taking notes so my next fics are better, but I think this one came out reasonably well!

For anyone who likes Crossmare, really hope you enjoy reading it, if you do!
