One Direction 10 year anniversary - post to self to look at in the future
This is the first post I posted on here, about 7 years ago (yes, I wish it was a group pic too). I decided to make a Tumblr to document all of the memories with the boys, and what a ride that was! When I became a fan in early 2012 I couldn’t picture myself in the future writing this to honor their 10 year anniversary, but here I am. I also couldn’t fathom how much of an impact they would make on my life back then either, but they really did. They have given me loads of memories and experiences, but most importantly, they gave me something to lean on in my fragile teenage years when I didn’t have much else. So thank you. I'm very proud of the boys (or men I should say, old habits die hard), and what they managed to create together, but also what they are creating seperately now. There’s a spot in my heart that’s permanently reserved for them forever, no matter what. Here’s to many more years, which hopefully will consist of the band doing something together again? We can only hope.
