it wasn’t so much that alexis hadn’t wanted to see harry, she just didn’t know how their dynamic would be since the break up, they hadn’t even much spoken since then. the model shifted to a sitting position so she could speak to him better, placing her tea on the bedside table and she paused the movie. “home alone, i still watch it every week in the month of december.” a tradition she had since she was a kid, one she had told harry about long ago. but she clocked when he ran his hand through his hair and she felt a little guilty for ducking him the last few nights, she hadn’t meant to make him feel like he had to walk on eggshells around her. “you can get comfy you know, you don’t have to just stand there. if it helps you can pretend like im not in here.” of course he still looked good, harry always looked good and she wasn’t blind to that in the slightest.
Harry had wanted to reach out to Alexis multiple times since the breakup but didn’t wasn’t sure she wanted to hear form him. Now that he hadn’t seen her until now he was certain she didn’t want anything to do with him. She looked so comfortable, and cute in her pjs with her tea, but he couldn’t do anything about it. Harry let out a small giggle “that’s right, you love that tradition” he said with a smile on his face as he looked at the ground. Now that he was here with her, in the same room, it wasn’t awkward or uncomfortable. He was glad he finally ran into her because if he was being honest, he wanted to see her again. “How about instead of doing that, I join you?” he asked with a warm smile on his face as he walked into the room more. Harry always thought Alexis was like a fine whine because she only got better as time passes, and this just proved his point.
