The Battle of Hogwarts on pottermore
What if besides Snape, Dumbledore and Harry, the Marauders correspond to the Three Brothers too? Peter, the first brother. Corrupted by a false idea of power and protection, given by a source immeasurably more powerful than him, constantly hurting people around him to maintain said power and, in the end, dead for it. Sirius, the second brother. The one whose loved ones are dead, the one arrogant and passionate enough to try overcome death, if given the chance, to bring his loved ones back. Remus, the third brother. The last one to die, who lived under invisibility after their brothers were gone, but who took it off once he knew his time to face death has come, in this case, in the battle of Hogwarts. James, the death itself. Where everything began and where everything will end. The legitimation for the first brother’s power, for the second brother’s desolation, for the third brother’s comfort to finally leave. The one waiting to greet the brothers after their deaths.

the founders & their beginnings - Rowena Ravenclaw
Rowena Ravenclaw was born in Scotland and due to the empty landscape and the harsh weather conditions, she never travelled far from her home at a small town in one of Scotlandâs glens. She was a very talented witch, teaching herself how to become an animagus at a young age, harnessing the ability to turn into a spectacular golden eagle at will.
Her original family surname remains unknown but she became Rowena Ravenclaw when she married her husband, Raghnall Ravenclaw. Raghnall was a great wizard of noble birth and several years older than her. While their marriage was not built on a great, all-consuming love, it was a partnership filled with fondness, respect and a mutual love of magical study. Raghnall - the last of his line - was overjoyed when Rowena told him she was pregnant. They had a daughter, Helena, but Raghnall died before she reached her first birthday.
Surprised by the depth of her grief after her husbandâs death, Rowena distanced herself from her baby daughter. At her husbandâs funeral, she met two men who had held Raghnall in great respect: Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin. From there, Rowena had a new purpose in life and began building Hogwarts with her new friends, leaving her daughter behind at her family home.
seriously though the Harry Potter universe is so beautiful because it is probably the only fictional world where I care with all my heart and soul for so many characters that aren’t just the protagonist and his or her sidekick like I can think of 20 characters off the bat that I would fight u over just to defend their honour
