It’s been an unbelievably long time since we’ve done this! And since Caitlin is on Korea time, it might just be me. I’ll let her know on Kakao just in case she has time to join us! I’m here though! Come talk to me. Here are some questions to get us started. Pick one, pick all, just let’s talk:

In Korea, I got to see GD EVERYWHERE. Pictures of GD, that is. Who would you want to see plastered on the front of stores? (PS- Kim Soo Hyun was everywhere too! Do you like him?)

Are you trying to learn Korean? What are the websites and tools you use? I have some great ones to share with you, if anyone is interested!

What is your favorite recent comeback? I haven’t been able to follow along for quite a few months! I want to know what I should check out first.

Wow. Time flies. Time flies so fast that we've been gaining followers with little activity from Caitlin and I (Alexa). We've made so many promises to you, our followers, without fulfilling them. Let's change that, shall we?

Caitlin and I, though divided between the US and South Korea, have been climbing and conquering mountains in countless ways. We want to tell you all about it and let you know our own plans. Keep a look out for our posts! If you are trying to get to South Korea, we have stories, advice, and our own mistakes to share with you. If you are new to HKT, WELCOME! 2014 K-POP DANCE PARTY

It's that time of year!

My friends and I didn’t go for Mnet Countdown for Got7 because we didn’t think we would get in based on the number of people that we heard were there, but turns out more people got in and we probably could have as well, grr.

So we didn’t want to chance not seeing them so...

I had applied to go to the showcase because I was a big fan of JJ Project and the other boys had caught my interest from WIN.

My friend Melanie and I both got into the special recording! What was different from this was that we would be able to see every artist that was performing that day (usually you sign up for each individual group’s recording). And multiple artists did more than one song when they’d usually just...

So through our program on campus we were able to get tickets for the K-Pop festival that was being held near our campus, about a 20 minutes bus ride. A few of mine and Alexa’s favorite groups (UKISS, VIXX, and Nu’est) were going to be performing and it was free, so of course we had to go!

Since I know you guys just want the good stuff, I’ll get my pre-concert whining out of the way: Got to the venue 3 hours early, got our tickets, waited in the INCREDIBLY long merch line for almost 3 hours, froze, didn’t even get halfway to the tent before they quit selling, and did an embarrassing...

Caitlin Here! How are you?

I'm still alive and kicking! I've been really busy with Korean class and, let's be honest, living the fangirl life!

I found my first group to be able to attend music shows for and support: GOT7! You guys should definitely check them out! Fangirl life is rough though, I was up at 5 am for 3 days straight! Totally worth it though :)

I'll do my best to post here as well what I've been doing since Alexa's returned to the US (COME BACK HUBBY) and share my K-Pop adventures with you guys :)
