I cannot believe it’ll soon be 10 full years without you.

My world was toxic and destructive the day I heard the horrible horrible news that you had left.

My one and only wish (aside from killing myself) around that time was to hug you, tell you how much you had saved me and helped me. That’s all my heart wanted. I wanted to let you know you changed my life for the better.

Glee died with you. It’s unfortunate and I know you would’ve been sad to hear that, but it’s just true. The magical safe space that we all loved was suddenly cold and uncertain. I did not bring myself to watch the quarterback, I was crying just thinking about it. I distanced myself from the show I once adored because it had lost its spark for me. The spark in question was you.

Your legacy is so much bigger than what you even imagined. You truly changed the way many people live their lives, I hope you can feel the love.

9 years is a long time, but I can safely say you will not be forgotten.

Jenna Ortega and Joshua Basset are some of the best recent (ex)Disney stars. Not talent wise necessarily (although I would debate that cause they are outstanding but let’s not) but as hard workers and honest educated, wise people
