What Do our HB customers think?

So we have been booking a lot of photo shoots for this month and next. Thats Awesome. But, there are still a lot of people that are iffy about shooting with us for the mear fact that they think they wouldnt do good and that we shot pros. the answer is NO we shot ordinary people with ordinary lives that have not been infront of the camera. RedBull Contest on Fanpage

HartBass/Red Bull

So as followers of our fan page may have noticed, ( if you arent following the fanpage click the link>>> http://www.facebook.com/hartbass ) we are holding a contest on our fanpage with Red Bull.

The contest states that you need to go out buy a can of red bull or something red bull related and take your best red bull face picture. Easy contest right? The winner gets one of our excellent photographic experiences. Its really not a hard contest. The catch is this... we at hartbass are NOT the judges of this. Fans of the page will be judging the pictures. So stay tuned contest submissions close on friday.

Tanya Rios, the girl we have been planning a shoot with for almost a year now. She walked into the lobby at my other job for an interview and while she was waiting for our big boss to come down we started chatting. Somehow in the chat we agreed that i should photograph her and that she had some ideas. Fast foward 8 or 9 months later and here we are. The shoot went great. She was obviously nervous but that quickly settled. Tanya, being a fan of the fan page, knew exactly what to expect and showed up with her own luggage full of clothes and many other things. She was a breeze to work with and even tho she was blinded a few times by the flashes she really killed just about every shot like a pro. So we did an awesome shoot the other day with another Jenny (i swear we arent doing it on purpose.) This time its Jenny Arriaga it was amazing. The thing is Jenny is a huge GOOF. Also she did was joke around, dance, laugh, run around, dance some more, and punch people. But the second the camera would go right on up to my eye, BOOM a model appeared. She did amazing. Two important Steps as HartBass Company

As most of you may know. My work became known when I started my old company HartStop Designs (http://www.facebook.com/hartstopdesigns). It was an awesome couple years. Unfortunately the company is dead in my eyes for many reasons. This post isnt about the whys but the new. Altho HartStop is not around anymore, i decided to continue my life and goals and restart the brand. HartBass Company is the result. The old name is not owned by me anymore and best of luck to her and the old company. HartBass is here to stay.

With that being said, there are two major steps i have taken to restart the brand. The first is i made another Facebook Fanpage. With HartStop the fan page was a success it allowed me to keep intouch with my fans and easily post new offers and deals for anyone that wanted a photoshoot. HartBass will have the same concept.

Ive been wanting to share this for a while. So as many of you comic geeks know Mark Hamill (luke skywalker in star wars) is the voice for joker on just about every version of the batman animated universe. He has done an amazing job at making the joker sound and be as sinister as he is in the cartoon. Key point is his joker laugh. Well I also feel that Heath did an amazing job at joker in the last movie well what if you mix the two? what if Mark did Jokers Dub over with the exact same lines....Well here is what it would sound like. Clip is from The Dark Knight.

In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark. I laughed and blew it out.

Photoshoot ideas (up for grabs with your help)

So i have a few ideas that i want to shoot. If you are interested in shooting one of these then let me know. Again my email is [email protected]. The way it works is if its an idea that i list here that you would like to do then email me and if the shoot requires money of any sort (ie: hotel room charge, pet rental, etc etc.) That is something YOU have to pay. If we do one of these shoots then you will not have to pay me for my service all you will have to do is pay for the item or location if required. But i promise these will be awesome and you will be happy with the results. Anything Crossed out is booked or has been done by me already.

Ideas:

- Pin-up style shoot with classic car (carwash etc etc)

-Girl on train or trolly

- Sexy Girl with BIG Snake

- Car Shoot with girl

- Beautiful Hotel Room Shoot (implied)

- Beautiful House shoot (living room, bed room, balcony? room or house needs to be awesome send pictures for approval)

-Small attractive girl with big dog shoot.

-Sexy Cat Lady (nice apartment with tonssss of cats)

- Plumbing (girl is fashionable heels cute ovarals tool belt getting dirty with pipes and fixing)

-One on One Basketball shoot (2 leggy females or attractive with heels playing one on one basketball against each other.)

-Cafe Shoot

-Brolic guy and sexy girl arguing in bed room shoot (black and white editorial style shoot)

had a great shoot with Catalina wow! We did so much traveled all around dumbo in brooklyn. So many interesting things happened, like random construction guys that wanted to take pictures with her, or a giant dog that we had to get in one of our shots, or even more a cool bike that Cat got to hop on and ride for a few. Great job with the shoot especially it being Catalina's first time in front of a camera. Id like to personally thank Anne for doing such a great job with the make-up and Jazmin for doing an amazing job with the lighting even when her arms started hurting from holding up all the many reflectors i had her holding. Thank you everyone for making this shoot in Dumbo yet another success.

But, more importantly she is the love of my life. And i can honestly say that without her I dont know where i would be or how much i would be suffering in the mess of my past. She has saved me and god i needed saving. She is my muse, she is the reason i see in art visions and she makes me happy. I just wanted the world to see my walking breathing inspiration to everything i do. and just wanted to thank her. Without her in my life id see in such dull black and whites. I love you Kitten.
