I am afraid.
I am afraid of leaving conversations undone, leaving problems unsolved, and leaving emotions unfelt for it will stay with me longer. I may forget about it when I’m occupied, but once I’m done, they all come back - undone, unsolved, unfelt. I not afraid of being alone but I’m afraid of feeling lonely, when there are people around me but no one is willing to listen. I am afraid of feeling lonely, when I want to be vulnerable but I have no one lean on. I am not afraid of being alone. I like the space it provides. I am afraid of being lonely, though. I am afraid to let people see me cry. I was never comforted every time I did. Not that I cried in front of them to seek comfort but even after seeing my vulnerability, I have never experience being comforted with kind words. I am afraid of all the “you’re so sensitive” comments, all the “what are you crying for.” I would rather, and I would always cry alone.
I am not afraid of beatings anymore. When I was a child, I would flinch in fear. Now, I would rather take a beating than anything else for physical pain fades and the body heals but emotional pain lasts long. I am afraid of being dismissed. I don’t like being misunderstood. That’s why even if it’ll take me long to explain, I would rather tire myself out than leave it as it is.

my worst year of my life used to be when I turned 18 but guess whaaaat, now I have two worst years of my life... this year added.
I guess it has been decided that tumblr is the only safe place where I can vent out my feelings and no one will judge me from it.
Today is another bad day in this bad year of mine. What I hate the most happened today. I got into an argument with my parents and they just shut me out and said “well, you’ve changed! you’ve changed ever since you started watching those korean people and their shows.” And you know what? That hurt a lot.
I can’t believe that those words would come from them. My parents brought me here. Ever since I was young, they watched all the korean dramas there are and even though they’ve gown out of it, I continued watching/listening/learning about the korean culture.
There’s not a day where I’m not hurt by their words and I don’t know if there would ever come a day where my life, specially my heart, is at peace.
