since you wanted questions, what other yttd ships would you write about?

Ooof, I like probably no ship enough to make a fic with them as the main ship because my heart belongs to SouSara. I always thought about doing a more mundane fic that's more humorous with midomaple as a side ship (one sided probably, but I love them as a concept lol)

I also love MishiNao and Kuramada x Anzu.

Ships that would have potential but I don't have enough content for them: Nao x Everyone (she's so shipable damn the ytts with Kai or the bad ending with sara is chef kiss, I want her to interact with Sou in ytts SO BAD), Keiji x Megumi

A dark part of me could consider writing something questionable horrible for SouKanna, but I like them more as a taboo concept than truly shipping them, I just see the potential.

Else they're totally platonic to me tbh, but Kanna's puppy crush on him is cute.

I think you can see that I like taboo and dark ships for the most part and if not that, I do like the funny ones. Hahaha

I don't want much attention, so I won't tweet this on twitter and just vent here

When you spend weeks/nights on each chapter, put so much love and passion into it and the only real attention you can get is a "next chapter when?" without a single other mention or comment by anyone else about what happened in the chapter or what they even liked- it feels like I'm serving some fast food that's made to be swallowed by some glutton that proceeds to demand that I deliver the next thing asap.

Ik the question alone is a praise on it's own, but I'm just upset at the general new ao3 culture, how readers are more silent than not, and sometimes I meet people on other platforms that tell me they love my fics, which is nice, don't get me wrong, I just wish they'd show it on ao3 too, not bc of celibrity status or anything like that, I just would like some recognition...

Comments are something I love to reread when I feel like I have no motivation left to be productive, or even when I'm in a mental state that I feel like a failure, idk, comments mean so much to me but nowadays it feels like you barely get anything for the work you put out.

And yes, I am mainly writing for myself, but I don't think it's a sin to crave for connection with others when you publish and share something that you put a lot of work and passion into.

I've been struggling to update my new fic because of this. This post isn't even meant to guiltrip anyone to comment, just saying that I never would have finished Re:Member without comments and I probably will be waaay slower with no feedback on For:Get than I would be with too, since I am a human being that wants my work to be ackowleged...

ANYWAY, sorry for the whining. In the end I am aware that I should be grateful for how many kudos my fic got for not being up for long and I am so happy that my fics are well liked in susr spaces. Just sometimes I feel very lonely in my passion for them and like I'm writing for a void.....

On a side note, man I wish there were more older sousara fans in my age range too...

what made you write another memory wipe story?

To be more precise with my answer though: I think it's not far fetched to create a yttd fic with amnesia, if amnesia and selective memory loss are central plot points of the original story.

It is true that you could call my new fic an "Au of an Au" but imo they both stand on their own and are perhaps even opposites of each other.

In Re:Member everyone lived and the death game was a simulation, Sou couldn't remember Sara, but Sara remembered him.

In For:get, everyone but Sou and Sara are dead. The death game was real. It makes the whole tone of the story way darker and while I still think Re:Member had it's psychological dark thriller moments as well, my new fic is definitely meant for an even more mature (or dark fic lover) audience.

Chapter 2 of For:Get is online!

This chapter was fun to write but I also struggled with writing a chapter with so little dialogue. (Everyone who knows my work knows dialogue is my strong suit rip)

I still think I improved immensely as a writer compared to my last work and would appreciate if you patiently wait for Shin and Sara to interact more in future chapters!

I know I'm much more well known on Twitter, but I feel like Tumblr would be the best place if anyone would ever want to ask me any questions. (Opinions about yttd, sousara, other ships etc.)

I feel like I'm way too old to handle a strawpage or whatever youngsters use, but I'd still like to engage with readers and fellow susr fans nontheless!

i know its been a while since re:member ended and im too shy to come out as a susr fan (this fandom is unforgiving) but that fanfic was so inspiring that it literally got me back into writing fics again!!! so thank you! your work did wonders in ways i didn't expect, i loved it to bits and pieces. ><

I always was determined to share my fic on here once I finished it. And after 3 years of hard work, I finally did!

It's a rather long-ish SouSara story about the idea of a postgame scenario where the Death Game itself was just a simulation. The Survivors can remember the death game as a "reward" while the less lucky ones who died are blessed can't.

Sara meets Shin one day in the convenience store he works at and somehow can't help but want him to remember her, despite their differences in the past.

Unfortunately, Asunaro's still active so it isn't your every day mundane love story and the relationship that blooms between Shin and Sara isn't that healthy either.

I hope you guys will enjoy it!
