Yue Qi (and later as Yue Qingyuan) admonishes Shen Jiu and tries to make the peace and says shit like "why are you like this?" And tries to get Shen Jiu to behave because he knows he needs to be responsible
But also, he likes Shen Jiu mean
He likes it when he's vicious and nasty
Right after this bit he says "Are you done standing on my foot? If you are, I'll take you somewhere fun"
And just! He likes his Shen Jiu Mean!
When all the other Peak Lords are like "Shen Qingqiu is nice now and we prefer this one" Yue Qingyuan is like "ok but can we get the mean one back please"
Their entire relationship and Shen Jiu's life would be fixed if Shen Jiu could just be mean to Yue Qingyuan and no one else
They would both be so fucking happy
