This book, “MAN LEADS…” by Ro Élori Cutno is actually quite good.

At first glance, with the font so large I thought this isn’t going to be very good if she needs to space it out so much. On the contrary, the first half of the book contains good advice for Men on how to be better Men in the context of women and His family. Most of it my Husband already does, thank God for that, but there’re a few places where he can improve. The second half is advice for women, where the photo of this page is from - Chapter 6, “Her Manual.” Much of this I do already, but there’s a TON I need to improve upon.

Probably the most interesting aspect of the book is how Ro explains why Men do what they do, in terms which we women can understand, and vice-versa, explaining why women do what they do, in terms that Men can understand. It really is brilliant.

The second portion of the this book also serves as a ladies manual on absolutely how to behave around Men. I WISH I’d read this when I was in my 20s. With the blessing of my sister, I’m planning on giving my copy to my niece, but only after she turns 18. There’re a couple places where Ro talks about fellatio, and that’s really not appropriate for a teenager imho. Who knew I’d write a book review on Tumblr. 🤷‍♀️

When do I stop worrying about whether my man actually loves me? There's something in my back brain that believes it will be when we are pronounced man and wife, but the nagging bitch part of my brain keeps hinting that insecurity will remain like a gadfly stinging me forever.

Mama (mother in law) rang last night to ask about a couple of wedding guests, who hadn't replied to their invitations. We chatted about an hour and I could feel the question butting in on my thoughts, and although I fought hard to keep it out. Eventually I blurted out 'Do you think he still loves me?'

She did her best to calm my anxiety, but as soon as we stopped the call the doubts returned (compounded by the fact I felt like a twat!) This morning they're worse and part of me is waiting for the call saying he isn't coming tonight. No work is getting done today for sure.

I'm trying to keep these thoughts out of my prayers, but I'm driving myself crazy. I even saw a mother and baby in the supermarket this morning, and all I could think was I would never have one of those because he's going to dump me.

The first lot of Banns are being read in church this Sunday, maybe the idea that my door to happiness might be slammed shut so close to being realised is feeding the bitch brain.

Why do our brains do this stuff, it's almost like they haven't got our best interests at heart? Perhaps because I'll be 37 in a few days and my brain wants to remind me this may be my last chance of having a husband and a family. I'm pretty sure despite all the indications to the contrary, I am in fact the unfortunate minor sister of the heroine of a 19th century novel.

Weirdly having written all that I feel a bit better, normally I would have wrapped myself in his jumper and created myself some finger induced endorphins. But alas this comfort is no longer available to me. Although I guess he wouldn't have bothered to instruct me what to wear for his arrival, if he wasn't planning on coming?

I'd better get on with making the bod and the house spotless, ready to empty his balls and fill his belly. Might send him a little picture to get his juices flowing...

I'm sure my sister's attitude to bringing up children is something akin to being punished, if I didn't know her better I'd think that she was a feminist just waiting for the moment that her husband lost his job and had to be a stay at home dad.

That would suit her very well, except she's not really a feminist. She's more a, I have to work, and look after the house, and the kids, and I don't really want to, kind of a discontent. Maybe one of the men I sleep with will whisk me away from all this.

I may have taken a bite of lemon instead of a strawberry, but honestly she gets on my nerves. Her hubby isn't a bad guy, a little bland, but not awful. I think she wears the huffy corduroys of post prime disappointment in that family, and all the younger men she lets bump her doesn't ever come close to making her happier.

Of course I don't really know how I'll be seen as a wife and mother, but I do know I'll try a lot harder than she does.

I reckon I'll be something like the well meaning, and intermittently hapless but quite adorable mother from Young Sheldon.

I wish I could tell the sib how wonderful I feel having not touched myself since Sunday evening (apart from keeping my lady garden hosed down and weeded) Really, she could take a little less cock in her life, it's just not seemly.

I pray for her every day and sometimes I tell God her most intimate secrets (although what I know probably only scratches the surface of her sins) and still she gets away with it. But when it all comes tumbling down, I just know I'll be the one who picks up the pieces.

Do you know what?

I just love ironing, it makes me think too much. But I just love it.
