House Of Games 1987:

have you ever watched a film purely because of an actor you like and then it turns out to be a really good film, yeah that’s this film.

i originally watched it because i’m in my criminal minds era and david rossi is my icon my legend so obviously when i found out joe mantegna is in this film i was like ‘i need to watch it’

anyway i love this little crime, thriller, con movie. in the words of one of my letterboxd “i love con movies more than i love myself” / “if you saw me getting involved in a con with young joe mantegna, leave me, i know what im getting myself into”

anyway i know my small brain can’t compute making words about how much i adore this movie at this moment in time so just watch it for yourself (it’s so good) i’ll probably make another review of this that is actually constructive in the future.
