ORIGINS: German with Dutch parents. Grew up in Mรผnster, Germany, and lived there until he was 9 years old.ย
EARLY CHILDHOOD & TEENAGE YEARS:ย
His parents moved a lot due to their job (undecided), but their final move was to America. More specifically, Northern California. During his childhood and teenage years, he was kinda weird and got made fun of due to his accent. Eventually, it ended up fading away, due to exposure and practice.ย
Kilian started Drama classes at his parents request, who thought it could be a good way for him to socialize better and learn to be confident. He found out that he loved acting and that he was really talented.ย
A few years later, when he was 16, he went to an audition for the role of Dead Poetโs Societyโs Stephen Meeks. Although he was really happy, heโs more calm. The ones who actually cried were his parents.
The movie was a huge success, getting prizes for its sensibility and the actorโs performances. Thus, it was inevitable: everyone knew Kilian, and they thought of him as his character, Meeks. Think about Neville Longbottom and Matthew Lewis, the actor.ย
For a while, things were amazing, but it got too much for him and he decided to quit the spotlight for a while. During this time, he went to school, partied and made several mistakes (which, as weโre going to see, will haunt him later).
THE COMEBACK
After he graduated from school, he went back to Germany and started working at local plays. He decided to come back to the spotlight with Netflixโs show Dark, in the role of Young Ulrich Nielsen.
When the internet found out that he was the same actor who played Stephen Meeks, the articles were on the lines of:

WOLF PUBERTY - NOW
The role was a success and he received several offers, making him go back to Hollywood. He got the role of Thomas Raven, on the TV show Wolf Puberty. It wasnโt a serious role at all, and several people questioned him what made him turn away from more serious projects.ย
His response was simple:ย โIโm an actor, Iโm versatile. I think Thomas is incredibly complex and playing him is being an amazing experience so far. Wolf Puberty is strong in the comedy aspect, and I wanted to try it out and work on it.โ
The role was also a success and fans really liked to see how different he is from Thomas. Thatโs where his fanbase REALLY blew up (which isnโt much compared to his co-starts, but thatโs where he gets his own fandom).ย
Remember when I told you that things would come back to haunt him? Well, someone had evidence from his party animal phase in his teenage years and it leaked all on internet. This happened near the ending of the season, but he wasnโt mainstream enough to be a huge thing.ย
The issue was: there was content of him (a minor) hooking up with other guys (also minors) at parties. Lawsuit ensued and the situation was controlled, but it didnโt directly affect his work as Thomas. Much to some peopleโs displeasure, he never stated anything publicly about his sexuality.
When the season ended and his character went to hell, he already knew that he would come back.ย He needed a break for a while, so he decided to turn an unexpected way: start streaming.ย
While his fanbase was small and strong, it grew to the point that he was mentioned in bigger streaming events. He wasnโt only an actor who liked gaming, he was also a streamer.ย
Then, when his character went back from hell and he resumed performing again, putting his career as a streamer on a small hiatus.
PERSONALITY
If things worked out for him so far, it was due to his calm and collected nature. He was never one to give in to the limelight and fame, opting to keep his life private. Nevertheless, Kilian is still someone kind and friendly, with a poignant blunt trait. Think of Dakota Johnson.ย
He lives in a small home (again, Hollywood standards small) with a dog and two cats, several plants and... Itโs just really cozy, you know? It reflects a lot of his personality!
