In a sense, he's never really changed appearance wise. He just doesn't tie his hair to a bun anymore.

I like that even tho younger and older him look almost exactly the same, what helps differentiate the age is how older Shiba is more physically built than younger Shiba. (I'm stating the obvious, aren't I....)
