In case anyone is curious, the priest didn't conduct an exorcism (Healy wasn't possessed) but rather a ritual cleansing, hence the need for wards to keep Lichu from returning. As you may have gleaned from my Winter Break post, I have pretty severe ADHD and it makes me *terrible* at keeping a regular schedule for...well, pretty much anything. So I'm going to start scheduling the posts on Tapas in advance so that, each Update Monday at 1 pm EST, the comic will magically be there without me having to remember anything! ...of course, I'll still have to remember to share it to all of the socials. But at least it's something?

Chapter 1 Title Card

Guys, I did so much research before I began writing this comic. Like, probably too much research. Did you know that the concept of demons didn't used to be inherently evil? Society originally used the term to refer to beings that existed in the ether between heaven and earth and would act as a messenger between the gods and humanity. Concepts change, words don't, and suddenly we see evil where we used to see comfort. #foodforthought

Author’s note: apologies for the late update on this page. Tumblr had a big glitch for me that resulted in me not being able to use it for several weeks. I’ve updated my settings and secured some of my privacy options, so hopefully this won’t happen again!
