You can't run very far from my sights, little mouse A design I created for a DND one-shot I played a while back. It seems that I have an affinity for Ice Queens that can put anybody in their place with a bow, arrow and a sharp stare alone.

me, designing DnD characters I'll probably play only once T_T but this one got me quite excited, so I'll do a bit of rendering on it! Inspired by the Shinigami of Black Butler manga
‘1 base 2 artists’ art challange I jumped into with a dear friend (@carasalexandra on IG) and I can’t remember the last time I had this much fun drawing characters. The fact that they’re my absolute favourites from Arcane definitely helped keep the hype!
I did Viktor first, and her Jayce and my favourite part is the knowing glances! 😭🫠
To be honest I have no problem trusting Lune with my life and safety. And I wish more games in the future will have a collections of outfits and hairstyles for purely aesthetic reasons. That baguette outfit sure took the seriousness out of some cutscenes, but I don't regret any second of it XD Tell me your favourite outfits in the comments!
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has gained a special place in my heart. I went in with little to no expectations and left with a permanent mark on my brain and a memory to last me for a long while. The soundtrack lives rent-free in my mind now. To our dear Gustave, his relentless hope, his kind smile, mellow eyes, you are not forgotten. For those who come after! ---- I wanted to do some fanart for COE33 for some time now and I finally took the time to do so. I was humming in my mind the main theme song almost the whole time. It haunts me XD I'm planning to do one for Verso too. Do you have any other characters you'd love to see? Let me know! (I may or may not be a Verstave shipper wink) Share with your favourite E33 nerd groups!
Digital study done in Procreate, about 1 and a half hours.
I don't always watch anime, but I do it when my friends recommend me a good one.
For the 8th portrait, I put my personal spin on a fanart for the protagonist of #dandadananime
I tell you, it's one of the silliest and most cool stories I've seen so far. The character design gave me #tokyoghoul protagonist vibes. So here's an Okarun (Ken Takakura) for you, nerds 😎 Watching season 2 now so no spoilers yet!
It took a while until I figured the right skin-tones but I'm loving the end result! Swipe to see the messy middle XD
If anybody's watched it, lemme know what you think about it!
Daily(ish) practice, no. 7/14 about 1 hour
I seem to choose references with an interesting colored lighting because it challenges me to think differently about skin-tones. Usually we see faces in plain light, planes flattened by a neutral light, but when I study the face in an unnatural setting, more dramatic angles 'light up' and I feel like I'm learning more than from plain photos.
So yes, the choice of reference influences my progress.
Daily practice, no. 6/14 about 1 hour
So far so good! Keeping up the streak as well as learning some new things. Procreate has some great native brushes and usually I stick to 2-3 favourites that feel natural to me.
If you happen to recognise the actor I used as reference, you can have a cookie 😌
Swipe right to see the time-lapse video, process steps and some juicy close-up textures.

Daily practice, no. 4/14, 1hr(ish)
One of the reasons I started this daily practice is because I want to get better at my digital painting skills. I feel that the method I had so far is not entirely natural, nor well structured, so I wanted to go back to the basics, and learn and apply the theory correctly. And the best change for me happens when learning by doing.
This one took longer, about an hour, and juggling color and values at the same time sure can feel daunting. I felt that adding color in the render process definitely adds time to the entire piece.
Daily portret practice, no. 3/14, about 30 minutes
Tried the gouache brush native to Procreate this time and I love how it creates some transparency and blends between tones. It's a different working flow than say, working with a full opaque one, but with some practice, it can lead to interesting textures.
2/14 digital portrait sketches is on the way! I'm studying about digital painting during the day and I can already feel my process shaping in different ways. Done in procreate, with a constrain of 30 minutes (ish).
Getting back to sketching portraits after a looong period of time feels a lot like going to the gym after you've been a couch potato for a while. Drawing is a muscle that needs training and maintenance. I trust that with time, I'll get back in shape. This is the beginning of a 14 days daily practice of portraits. For this one I allowed myself only 30 minutes and limited the numbers of layers I use (line art, paint and background.)
This edition of Dungons & Hotties is a bit more special than usual. It was designed with silly copywriting and edgy calligraphy by yours truly and gorgeous art by a dear friend (she can be found @carasalexandra on instagram) Cotillion, or Coti for people that know him more than a passing shadow, is your textbook edgy assassin. Tight-lipped with details about his life, with a mysterious connection to a supernatural being through an enigmatic scroll. His morals are somewhat in the grey area, but when it comes to watching the back of his comrades, he is steady and resolute. I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of his crossbow <_< And I always have a good giggle trying to create these juicy sounding magazine titles. I try to sneak in little references to the campaign the character is part of.
Want me to illustrate your character art and even include it in such a magazine concept? Let's talk!
Issue two of the latest DnD magazine features Arshax, a dragonborn druid on a quest to rid Barovia of the cruel rule of vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich 😎 🧛
Also featuring - Werwolf relationship tips for the perfect mate-match - Gossip and speculation about the hottest event in town - party at the vampire estate - And an interview with the party of heroes that have plunged into danger for the good of Barovia
A good friend allowed me to illustrate his character and I had a lot of fun bringing the image he had in mind for his beloved character 🙌 When designing the custom lettering, I saw it as maybe an autograph from the hero himself. I'm sure he'd do that for the fans ;)
Hear me out: hottest Magazine in Faerun just dropped the first issue!
Today we have: - Interview featuring Vex, an Echo Knight hell-bent on facing giants and dragons alike, with a grin on her face, backed by a savvy rogue and mischevious warlock. Insights into a workout for killer abs.
- Tips for dragonborns out there: how to get the most out of your yoga practice without singing anyone's hairs
- And interview with the people of power in Baldur's Gate about the sudden decrease in temperature all over the continent (See Storm King's Thunder adventure module)

Character design and art, lettering, layout and copywriting by yours truly!
This might become a series! Besides lettering, I am also an illustrator and character designer, and another huuuge passion for me is #dungeonsandragons and sassy writing.
I have been hesitant to show my character design art before because I always considered it as not that 'serious' for me, but as I was bouncing around ideas on how to pair lettering with character design, THIS came up and I confess I loved every minute of it.
For Vex it was clear in my mind that I should choose graffiti style, because she's a rebel at heart, a fun personality and would totally rock a magazine cover. I'm open for every and any questions you have about D&D or her story!
Special thanks to and @azarya-sfor going along and encouraging this endeavour (And for proof reading my silly copy). Friends are truly priceless ❤️
So let me know, are you eager to see more issues? Because I have a BUNCH of ideas prepared, just to see the light of screens 😎
If you ever want your OC in a layout such as this, hit me up for a commission!
Havi Lothbrok is what I imagine a charismatic nerd would look like. His nature is gentle and cheerful, although at times his eyes sharpen, his grin takes a more enigmatic shape, hinting at a cunning side. He took pleasure in his studies at the Waterdeep academy, but he feels like he has yet to taste adventure, to prove himself useful or heroic. When his first expedition goes horribly wrong, he emerges from the edge of death alone... or so he thinks. For something from deep in Shadowfell, whispers through the dark and mist.
