There is absolutely nothing wrong with MASH at all, but if I had to choose one thing to change, I’d give Pat Morita more guest spots. As Captain Sam Pak, a doctor in the Korean army, he gambles and kibbitzes with the best of them in “Deal Me Out,” then helps to find a home for the Korean refugees in “The Chosen People.” Both these appearances were in season 2 and Pak wasn’t seen again. Whyyyyyyy. I applaud the choice to feature a Korean captain amid the Yankee Doodle doctors; he even rolls his eyes at Frank when the latter suggests he should be grateful the Americans are in the war. Plus, Morita (RIP) was just such a cool, likeable presence. It bears mentioning that he was Japanese-American, not Korean, and I wonder if this had anything to do with his character not returning, perhaps because he or someone else decided it wouldn’t be quite right.

I still want to edit parts of that fic because it’s so old and a little cringe, but right now it is what it is and still one of my faves to go back and re-read from time to time.

Of course, I love also William Christopher as Father Mulcahy in the TV series Mash, but René Auberjonius is totally cute in the movie <3 Unfortunately he doesn’t have many scenes, but this particular one always makes me smile. It is so gentle and tender how Hawkeye/Donald Sutherland pats him… Love it.

You see the photo you already know what's going down your boy is ranting again it is July I haven't been here for a hot second and I just wanted to let you all Know I'm not dead. I've just been dealing with some health issues that still haven't subsided I'm getting two teeth pulled tomorrow I'm turning 20 on the 18th and I'm just kind of tired you know I just feel like I'm going to die but I'm going to keep on keeping on and maybe bring some good content soon cuz Lord knows I haven't posted in a hot second I've never had teeth pulled so maybe that's what's making me anxious but you know what we going to get them ripped out and we going to get them ripped out.
Yet again I am using the trusty Dusty text to speech cuz your boy don't want to type all this out but he has found interesting discoveries in one of them is that I need to listen to more music I haven't really listened to a band called The band and I am so in love with them Richard Manuel and Rick Danko are like my sons and I must protect them I love Garth Hudson you know levon helm be bopping.
