I love when Maude goes live, I love when Sam and Mabel are there too, I love that she bares her soul to us twice a week. Maude has rewritten fan interaction from the very start, replying to dm’s, polling us on our spiritual connections and our emotional wellness, live streaming constantly. She has created such a safe and welcoming universe, it astounds me that the entire world hasn’t already knelt before her and offered her their souls in exchange for her creations. Maude has created a family between herself and the fans, she brings us into her world and openly shares it with us. We will forever be here for her because she will forever be here for us, we understand the unique complexities of one another, we share our souls. Maude lets us so deep into her mind, she allows us to see not only the art she has released in good faith, but the art she has created and kept to herself. She opens our souls to her emotions and shares that weight with us, we heal together. Maude will be the revolution of the pop industry, of that I am sure. Whether it happens in this lifetime or the next, people will continuously be inspired, comforted, motivated, and overwhelmed by Maude’s creations. She has created timeless art, these pieces she gives from within herself to us are alive, they are undying. That is the truest test of artistry to me, is it real? can I feel it? connect to it? discover new pieces of the universe from it? I can Maude, this is the beginning of your revolution, you will rewrite the constitution of pop music, you will change this industry. Fear not Maude, the masses are coming. You have created something so much bigger than yourself, something so expressive and beautiful, the masses are coming.

I know we have heard this song before, sung the lyrics along with maude on live streams, felt the depths of platonic love, experienced the pure bliss of previous maude releases, and enjoyed the ride so far, but this time it feels different. This is the moment things are beginning to change for her, she is about to explode. The confines of social media have released and Maude is about to break free. I despise that the industry has become a game of tik tok recognition and instagram followers, however, Maude has proven time and time again that she can overcome the limitations of this online world and continue to release captivating music to an equally captivating, whimsical, beautiful, artistic audience. The fans absorb anything Maude releases and allow it to transcend them into Maude’s spiritual universe, we have given up complete control to Maude and her creations. Walk backwards is going to be the song that draws the rest in, it is an inevitable success. We do not see this happen often enough, a small independent artist taking the industry by storm, but we will see it with Maude.
