"Ouch.." He hisses a sound out, flinching away from the other as she dabs his cuts with the cotton ball. He knows that they have to clean them, but it hurts and he's being a baby about it.

"Damn right it hurts..! Sorry.. shouldn't yell, you're just trying to help me.." There's a soft whine as he looks away, giving his arm back to her.

"I could, or I could tell you the truth?" He tilts his head, pouting the slightest bit as he watches the other's face. While he wanted to give his friend the comfort he seems to need.. he really doesn't want to lie to him.

Sighing out a soft sound, he shakes his head a bit as he grabs the roll of bandages. "Give me your arm." It's the most serious he'd been in a long time. "I'll get you patched up, okay?"

as jiji's tears begin to flow, okarun tenses, and in his own selfish way, he wishes that the other had been faster at hiding himself away, because it hurt, not only to see jiji like this but to know he was the cause.

he says, tone in plea as a hand extends forward, stopping before reaching the one before him, unsure of where it was appropriate to touch.

❝ i never meant to make you feel like this but — ❞

but what?

words remain caught in his throat like a bug on a glue trap. he wants to say that he has been watching — but if he dares watch too close he takes the risk of never being able to look away again, and that's a truth he would much rather keep to himself..

He hates showing this side of himself, the vulnerable side. The side that yearns for the love and affection that he oh so desperately needs from okarun.

There's a choked whimper of a sound as the other begs him not to cry, himself doing his best to stop - though it's hard.

It takes a moment for him to notice the hand reached out. But the moment he does? He's launching himself forward, grappling onto him.

"Don't let go... please.. I need you, Okarun.. just for a little bit.. let me stay.."
