Good news!
You could have just knocked on my door if you needed to get a hold of me that badly
Should I have? I didn't want to distract you.
Good news!
I found my phone, it was in my suitcase! You can all breathe easy now, I know you were concerned.
I'm so glad you've found it, I was going out of my mind!
Got attacked by a crab.
You kidding me? I have plenty of fucking fun.
I mean lesbian fun, Giselle. Do you have plenty of lesbian fun?
I Could Use Somebody | Hayden & Craig
“Hey…” the word kind of just blurted itself out like a reflex as he noticed the droplet of water trailing down the side of her face. It caused a pain to vibrate inside the hollows of his chest and his hands wanted nothing more but to console her. With a light sigh, Craig crossed the space that was between the two of them and sat down on the left side of Hayden. His mind was definitely focused on what she said, but he didn’t want her to pity herself in front of him. This was in no means how things were supposed to be. Hayden was supposed to be happy with Matt and more importantly, she was supposed to be healthy. Questions of her fate also lingered in the darkness of his mind as he wondered what he could possibly say to comfort her. Quietly and carefully, as though he was afraid she would crumble in his hands, Craig wrapped an arm around the girl’s curvy waist and moved closer to her. However much he tried to get is mind off of it, he couldn’t but wonder if she was going to die, so he needed to be near her. With his free hand, he cupped her chin gently and slightly traced her lips with the pad of his thumb. The urge to kiss those full lips of hers were beginning to boil up inside of him.
“Listen to me,” Craig began, his normally strong voice weak with a sense of hopelessness. “You aren’t a freak, Hayden. In fact, you’re one of most beautiful women I’ve ever met.” The words remaining on his tongue he didn’t entirely believe, but he wanted to. “I’m not going to let anyone or anything hurt you.”
Hayden normally wouldn't have known how to react to Craig's behavior before, or if she were even in a different state of mind. Sometimes he had the capability to surprise her, now being the most prominent example of such. She didn't like to get close to anyone during times like this, it made her feel guilty when she shouldn't. But quietly she sat with him, comfortable as he pulled her closer and traced her lips. She resisted the urge to get closer to him, as he was doing the same. His words distracted her from the thought and made her both smile and frown in one movement of her lips. She didn't mean to be pessimistic, the thought was nice and his intentions were there but they both knew that he couldn't save her from herself. When her body started turning on itself there wasn't anything Craig could do to stop it, there were no delusions about that and she didn't want there to be. "You can't say that," she explained, shaking her head. "It'll only make you feel worse when it does happen and I don't want that. I'm okay, I'll be okay....and if not I had a good run, right?" She paused as her throat started to feel like it were constricting, her eyes watering again. In the back of her mind she didn't want Craig to see her like this, so to hide she buried her face in his shoulder for a moment, taking deep breaths to try and calm herself down. "I'd miss you," she confessed quietly after a few moments to catch her breath, looking up at him with sad eyes.

Life is too short, G. Have some fun.

First time in forever my ribs aren't bothering me
Trust me, I want to..it’s just a little too whirlwind isn’t it? I really don’t want one night to mess things up.
Being cautious is a waste of time, but sure if you want to hold off that's fine.
First time in forever my ribs aren't bothering me
Alright, let’s do it. Is this crazy? It seems a little crazy.
You don't have to, if you think it's too crazy.
First time in forever my ribs aren't bothering me
I’m listening…where did you have in mind?
Honestly, a separate hotel room is probably the best we've got.
First time in forever my ribs aren't bothering me
I wouldn’t have a problem with that either.
my roommate for the trip, however, might.
We could probably find another place for the night.
First time in forever my ribs aren't bothering me
What makes you so sure?
Because I for one wouldn't have a problem spending the night with you.
First time in forever my ribs aren't bothering me
Maybe I should, but I doubt there’s any offers on the table if you know what I mean
I'm sure there's at least one.
First time in forever my ribs aren't bothering me
I feel like I could go run a marathon now!
You should spend the night with a beautiful girl instead, if you know what I mean.
Got attacked by a crab.
If you wanna eat me out, Hayden, just say so.
You know I've always wanted to.
Got attacked by a crab.
Ouch. Where? Want me to kiss it and make it all better?
I Could Use Somebody | Hayden & Craig
He brushed past Hayden as he walked in, the smell of her hair filling his nose almost instantly. His eyes closed momentarily taking in all the memories that followed that scent. “Anytime,” he breathed, opening his eyes before turning to face her as she shut the door. As much as they fought or bickered, there was still a part of him that wanted her and he was pretty sure that feeling would always be there. “You, uh, having a rough day or something?” the boy’s green eyes wandered, trying not to look her in the face. Once upon a time he had said some horrible things about wishing her cancer would come back and now she had a brain tumor. That thought made a pit of guilt form in his stomach and he almost couldn’t bare being close to her, so he kept his distance.
“Look, I’m really sorry I’m a dick 100% of the time and I’m sorry I fucked you and Braxton up. And I’m sorry for this… for you.” his voice hung in the silence that filled the room.
Hayden was already used to this. The apologies that came with the news she delivered. Empty words tossed into the air in order to make amends when it was quite the selfish act in the end. They always came apologizing for things she didn't care about, this and that which she didn't even remember. It showed her how much thought it took to come up with the littlest things to apologize for, minute details they had to pick out in order to make her feel better, at least from their perspective. She'd grown tired of it quickly and wasn't thrilled for it to happen all over again. Thankfully Braxton had been one of the few not to apologize to her, but he had started trying to protect her from herself which they both knew was impossible. Craig's apology she'd been waiting for, unlike the others. He said words she never thought he would, which confused and delighted her. This wasn't a usual confession of sins already done, a past being rehashed, it was more than that.
"You didn't put a tumor in my brain, did you?" She scowled at him for a moment before rolling her eyes, resorting to playful games that experience proved made everything seem less serious. "I appreciate the apology, Craig," she told him quietly, the playfulness gone as quickly as it had come. She took a step toward him, wanting to comfort him somehow but she second guessed herself and stepped away, turning her back to him as she walked to the bed and sat at the foot of it. "I guess you could say I'm having a rough day, yeah. Kind of a rough life really. Matthew left today, to attend his fathers funeral and I'm not sure if he's coming back right off. And I guess more people know about my brain now so that's stressful. I don't like that people know, I don't want to be treated like I'm some kind of," her voice got stuck and a tear slipped down her cheek which she quickly brushed away. "I don't want to be treated like some kind of freak."
