PROFILE
Full Name: Grace Miller Hayden Mitchell Age: 24 Gender: Non Binary Occupation: Veterinarian at the Pet Clinic Residential Area: Haverford Face Claim: Penelope Mitchell
BEFORE
Thereâs nothing wrong with being a good girl. Or so, thatâs what Hayden was always encouraged to think when she was growing up. Her father being a priest of the Haverford church and mother conducting Sunday school for children between 6 and 12, Hayden wasnât very informed about what sort of people there were in the world. To her, there was good and then there was bad. She wanted to be good. Because faith told her she would be rewarded for it. So she went to be every night at ten thirty, always had her homework in on time and never went out with a boy alone without consulting her father first. She wore the outfits her mother approved and braided her wild hair to make it tame. Their home was filled with humble family portraits and her motherâs sweet smelling perfume.
But when Hayden turned fifteen, that all changed.
It was just like every other day at school, she had hugged her friend goodbye before waiting on the street for her older brother to take her home. She rocked back on her heels before remembering what her mother said about posture, straightening her shoulders just as she had heard a frantic cry. Hayden had turned to see a boy with thick raven hair taping a smaller boy to a pole, friends laughing all around. She had hated Hunter Clahoun from that point on wards, yelling at them to stop what they were doing to the poor boy. That night, she prayed that he would be shown mercy one day, and that perhaps he would see his wrongs and change for the better.
A few weeks later, her class had been set a project to be worked on in pairs. Holding pinkies with her best friend, the teacher split everyone into girl and boy, and the next moment Hayden was staring Hunter right in his smug face. But after working for weeks on a single project, the more Hayden began to find his personality addictive. It all began one afternoon she had forgotten to tell her father that she had been going to the park to work on the project with Hunter â but instead of work, heâd wanted to play. And play they did. Hayden arrived home way after curfew with a ripped dress and dirt on her hands. Her parents were appalled.
After that, she agreed to go to a bonfire with him. He showed her a way of living she had never experienced, and for a while she would do his homework to keep him from failing. A few months passed and eventually, her parents didnât even recognize her. No longer was she referred to as Grace, her given name at birth. No longer did she keep her hair in a braid â not after Hunter had told her how good it looked set loose. No longer did she go to bed before the sun started to rise and eventually, she barely went to church. No longer did the portraits in her house look humble, they looked stiff, and no longer was her motherâs perfume sweet â it was sickly.
Her parents had done everything they could, threatening her and threatening Hunter, taking things away and laying down more rules. But the one thing they couldnât take away from Hayden, was her freedom. Hunter made sure of that, and when the law had restricted his by sending him to a juvenile delinquents center, she visited him as often as they would allow. He had finally broke her out of the shell of a life she was living, she owed it to him to be there when he needed her.
Finally, the day had come. Hayden had made herself look pretty and wore Hunterâs favorite shirt, turning up at the new institution, ready for pick up for the boy she had come to love. But as sheâd introduced herself cheerily, trying to still her racing heart⌠âIâm here for Hunter Clahoun, heâs getting out today.â The guard told her something unbelievable, âHeâs already been released.â It didnât make any sense, she had told him when she was going to pick him up, he had promised her. They were going to do it together, like everything else.
Hayden sat by her phone all night, until the horizon got light. She turned her phone over constantly, but there was nothing. No missed calls, no messages. Days turned into weeks which turned into months. Whatever had happened to Hunter, he was just⌠gone.
NOW
Now, she was them and her was their. Hayden had never done freedom by themselves before, and the more they got used to it the more Hayden lost control of everything. They went to clubs and bars in the city they had never heard of before, and that was where they lost their previous identity and gained a new one. Her old skin was uncomfortable, it felt like Church songs and the prayers of their parents. Hayden wanted nothing to do with it, so they moved out to work briefly in a catering service run by a woman and her brother. They owned an open house, which mean that anyone could come and go as they pleased. Hayden scored a room next to a girl she had had a crush on or a brief time, before the girl had left to join the army. Everything was so fleeting now, today Hayden was alive, tomorrow they could be dead.
They sometimes think about where they started from, but with a bitterness in their mouth that tastes like an old life. Hayden doesnât want anything to do with it now. They are their own person now, and they have never felt more free.
PERSONALITY
Hayden is complex, and they donât allow anyone to understand them at a close distance. Struggling with their sense of identity and their gorish past, theyâve become extremely secretive and taciturn at best. Some people might even say they have a somewhat catatonic vibe, until something upsets them, by which Hayden is known to lash out and lose their temper in a chaotic manner. Theyâre blunt and depressing, their views of the world are bleak and honest, but warped. Hayden is the representation of a person whoâs had everything taken from them, and is still struggling on finding themselves.

âWh-what? Drugs? No- these arenât⌠I mean, Iâm not taking drugs.â
âWhatever dude. Letâs get this shit out of the gutter before it coagulates or something.â
tonigold:
âI know that, yes. But that shouldnât be news to you.â
âAlright, so itâs my fault, now butt out of our relationship, okay? Like, is getting married not enough for you or something? Youâve taken the only family I have, what else do you want, just make a list.â
nolangirl:
âYou have no idea. Yeah, sure. Let me grab my bag.â
âHow about I get you a pick-me-up? It costs more but it works better.â
narioh:
âLighten up a little, will you? Iâm only messing around.â
     âStill looks stupid.â
i love sleeping and being mentally unavailable
nolangirl:
âYup. Hey, do you want a drink? Iâve been craving some vodka for the past hour.â
âJee, you really are lonely huh? Are you buying?â
connor-fitzpatrick:
âIâm shaking in my shoes. Have fun moving that couch by yourself.â
    âJust fucking get out.â
âShe possessed a kind of half-step-removed sense of discovery as though she passed through life having woken from a successful nap.â
greychoi:
Grey could feel judging eyes on them the moment they had tripped on the sidewalk and let the dozens of vitamin-c tablet cartons and bottles of herbal remedies spill out of their grocery bags. They felt compelled to explain themself before judgement could be passed. â⌠uh⌠my throat felt sore this morning.â
âYeah --- I donât care what drugs youâre stuffing down your throat.â

That was what she wanted. The acute attention, the feeling of lips on hers with an agenda and with in this case the knowledge that the kind of euphoria she was feeling herself might very well be reciprocated in the same wayâ no haze. That the soft touch along her neck that ebbed away from a more course pull was Hayden. Them, still.Â
Lifting herself towards the blonde at the hip in a motion to position herself lower on the bed. Talon meeting the kiss with no attempt to derail, the break coming with the movement. Her fingers played at the hem of their shirt, dipping barely under tight jeans and back until another kiss was met and her fingertips were feeling along the warm and sunken rib-cage along Haydenâs back. Breaking the kiss, placing one lingering kiss to the creases edge of their lip, lifting at the hem of their shirt slowly, with ease.Â
rileyo-conner:
âJust stop talking because I donât believe a word youâre sayingâŚâ
â--- Wouldnât be the first fucking time. Whatever.â
talon-harper:
There was a slight, tiny barely noticeable pull at Talonâs lip at Haydenâs response. There was something about watching them interact. To not put up a  wall, to not in Talonâs eyes switch to a strange combination of stoicism and complete disinterest.Â
Their eyes and their tracks didnât evade, as much as Talonâs insideâs were screaming with the familiar thrill of lust, with Hayden these hesitated and raw moments were itching at a place that weighed heavy. She remained visibly calm. Parting her lips slightly with no actual return to the kiss. Eyes open following them the whole way. Catching the other blondeâs before theyâd found hers, the muted color to their eyelids she could see the tiny thin blue veins, accented perfectly by the dark under their eyes. She didnât comment. Instead taking in what exactly Hayden meant.Â
Lifting her legs, bending at the knees slowly. One at a time, a silent inhale to calm her nervesâ the rise of her chest noticeable if they were looking, Talon used those muscles to slowly push herself back further towards the center of the bed. The palms of her hands remained, sliding, finding their next haul against the fabric, she released that breath with the parting of her lips the edges of her teeth coming together, raising her gaze in Haydenâs direction expectantly.Â
As Talon opened up to them, Hayden felt themselves relax. A lot of the time, they had trouble with even the most innocent of sexual activities. But oddly, here, they felt safe. Safer than they usually felt ever, really.
Leaning into her, Haydenâs hand slid up her neck and into her hair. They turned the kiss harsher, lips eagerly searching Talonâs as their fingers gripped into her hair. It was soft, so soft, and they could only wonder how her skin felt.
narioh:
âHow do I look? And more importantly, which pair of sunglasses do you think looks better on me?â
     âNeither, they both look stupid.â
