The gang all enjoying a day at Coney Island! After arriving in America, Rosie and Rudy are quick to check everything out including the famous Coney Island Boardwalk. This is where they end up eventually befriending Mary and Jane - as this is their local hang out spot. But for now they’re just enjoying a nice date night walk.

This piece was a huge challenge for me - I don’t know if I’ve ever done so much signage in one drawing!!! I wanted it to feel like you were there walking down the boardwalk with them as the sun is setting. The second image includes the layout as well as some close-ups of the signage!

Hey guys! 

I realized I never uploaded my grad project! So over time, as a way to bring my tumblr back to life, I’m gonna post some stuff from it! 

The project’s title is “Breakfast in America”, named after the Supertramp song, and takes place between England and America in the 1970s. The whole story and characters are based off of various Supertramp songs and each of the character’s names (as of right now) are all found in certain songs. 

So here’s my lineup! We have Rudy, Rosie, Mary, and Jane. 

I’m actually planning on delving back into this project in the near future and fleshing it out some more so stay tuned !!

My version of the Four of Wands tarot card for #arcanebridge - a tarot deck where there are a bunch of amazing artists with different cards. This is my contribution! 🧡

The Four of Wands upright revolves around harmony, celebration, marriage, and community. I decided to make them elves because I’ve always felt like elves are very celebratory and community driven (also... I was playing a lot of World of Warcraft when I sketched this up!) ✨💫
