This is probably a stretch, but I still like to think about it(plus hazbinverse is its own thing). About Lilith and Lucifer paralleling each other.

Adam and Lilith were created as a pair. A romantic pair. Except Lilith did not want to obey him.

Sera and Lucifer were created as a pair. A platonic/familial one. Except Lucifer did not want to obey the old ways Sera preached.

As Lilith ran away, a replacement was created. A new bride, Eve. Someone who will look just like her but more obedient. (this would also work with Eve replaced Lilith theory)

As Lucifer was cast out, a replacement was created. A new bringer of joy, Emily. Someone who will be like Lucifer, but with tight connection to Sera. Hence the similar looks of the two.
