I have no idea what this song is about because I don't understand enough of the language. It's a bangin' tune though. I have a non-live version but other than the audience noise they're pretty similar, and it's cool that there's a video.

A strange song about an indecisive girl, weighing her marriage prospects in the town.
It's a really weird comedic piece, and the Andrews Sisters are one of my all time favorites.

A beautiful instrumental piece.
There are so many good songs this year. I a word girlie. It's so weird to choose an instrumental when there are so many good songs from this year, but that's just how good this piece is.
*Blasts music in bedroom, so I can listen to it in the kitchen*
*looks at cat on the bed*

*goes to kitchen to do task, occasionally calling to cat warning him about hearing loss which he suffers is my fault*
*Mr. Beans (cat) eventually comes out of the room and starts screaming at me because I came into his nice quiet bedroom, blasted my music then left.*
*tosses him a twist tie, expecting him to play with it where he is.*
*Mr. Beans Thinks: A twist tie! I gotta take this to the bed so I have a harder time seeing it!*

A song about a cheating, or flighty partner.
Jam Packed full of puns. It's a really clever piece. This is Part One I think I prefer it slightly to the 2nd part.
That's What I Hate About Love - Cab Calloway

A song about how people drift apart in love.
I love his vocal flourishes, and he ends the song in such a wild way.
I'm a Specialist - Frank Crumit
Favorite Song of 1931
A comedic song about an outhouse builder.
The composition of this is so good and satisfying. The violin, the tuba, and other horns.
Really 1931 was Cab Calloway's year. So many banger's but I just love this song so much.
Pistol Packin' Papa - Jimmie Rodgers
Favorite Song of 1930
A comedic Country Western tune, with occasional innuendo.
It has a story, yodeling, and is funny. What more could you want?

A comedic song about what seems to be an unequally split inheritance.
It's pretty, and funny. Frank Crumit is one of the comedic greats.
Skipped a few years again. This is the last time we'll be doing that.

Favorite Song from 1926
A comedic song about a man's drunken night. I really like that he changes things up by faking an accent at one point.
Song of the Voiga Boatmen - Fritz Kreisler

An interesting choice, because the song itself is of course much older. Still I really like this rendition.
Sorry we skipped 1924, but I haven't found a song I like from that year yet.
Old King Tut - Billy West
Favorite Song of 1923
A song about the then very recent discovery of King Tut's Tomb.
I love the rhythm of the "Old King Tut Tut Tut" section.
Also a big bonus anytime an old song calls someone Gay. It's just always an added joy for me.
This was the first year that I had multiple songs to chose from.
