The Braided Tree

Really enjoyed creating the flash photography effect on this piece :) this unsettling tree came into my head at one point and I genuinely couldn't stop thinking about it until I finished drawing it. Thank you for releasing me from my curse, oh braided tree.

Had a bit of anxiety about what to post next but I have braved it and am here to show you ✨ this ✨ . Created this illustration as a gift for T. R. Moore who's book will be coming out late February! Id make the title bigger next time, but I hugely enjoyed creating the illustration and the font ♥️ If you're into romantic fantasies with eco themes then please go check it out!!

Time to start posting my backlog of art I suppose!! This is my main character Morrow for a fantasy horror book I'm writing :] It explores the feeling of losing yourself to trauma (or in this case an eldritch centipey river god)
