Going Home || Hospital Release
heartfeltlouis:
Louis listened to Harry and bit his bottom lip, but nodded in both agreement and understanding as the taller boy assured him that everything would be okay. “Okay, I understand.” He said quietly, biting his bottom lip as he fidgeted with his fingers, looking up and smiling softly as he returned his boyfriend’s gentle kiss. “Just be careful.” He told him sweetly, giving him a small wink as he bit his bottom lip and watched as the curly headed boy went outside to talk to the awaiting media. “Please let him be okay…” The older boy whispered to himself, slowly laying himself down on the couch as he let out a soft sigh. He loved being with his family and he loved the fact that Harry’s family were there too, but he was just so tired; in his eyes the house was too crowded, too noisy and he just wanted to be with Harry. It wasn’t as amazing as he had imagined it to be.
The media were pretty understanding for once, listening to Harry and deciding to pack it in like he requested. Everyone that paid attention to the band would know that Louis had just gotten out of hospital for a pretty serious operation, he was home to relax and recover and the least anyone could do would be to accept the family’s request and give them their privacy. So once Harry had given a statement and let a few pictures get taken, they wished him and Louis well and started to get in their cars and leave. Lottie was still stood at the door, smiling as he gave the taller boy a pat on the back for how he conducted himself in front of the media. “Impressive, you really are used to that.” She commented with a smile, shutting the door behind them and locking it so none of the kids got out. “Lou’s laying on the couch, do you want anything?” She asked while informing Harry on his boyfriend’s whereabouts since his head was no longer visible as he was laying down rather than sitting up.
“I always am,” Harry replied to Louis, wanting to do everything in his power to reassure him that this would be okay. Truthfully, everything he did was for Louis. He wanted to take care of him and make him smile or proud. He loved Louis so much that the boy was just at the core of everything Harry did and was. Harry was grateful for the way that the media really did seem to respect his wishes. He was pleasantly surprised at the number of them that gave Harry well wishes and messages of encouragement for him to pass on to Louis. When he turned around to go back inside, he couldn’t help but smile to himself when he actually heard car doors closing and knew that at least a good number of them had actually granted his request and were leaving. Thankfully, there wouldn’t be a commotion outside the house anymore and things would hopefully be able to go back to being normal and Louis would have a calm environment to heal in.
Once he went inside, he couldn’t help but smile when he realized Lottie had been keeping an eye on him the whole time. He pulled the younger girl into a hug and kisses the side of her head like he would his own sister or mum. “I suppose I am. Think it’s just part of the job.” Harry shook his head as he let her go, nodding afterwards to show that he had understood what she had said, though. “I’m good, thank you darling. I’m gonna go and make sure your brother’s all good. I’ll catch up with you in a little bit, yeah?” Harry adored all of Louis’ family but he definitely had a good connection with Lottie and he was excited to get to spend some quality time with her while he was staying here. He walked into the living room and sat on the edge of the coffee table right next to Louis’ head. He leaned down to kiss his forehead softly and he reached for his hand. “You okay, my love? Everything is taken care of out there so now it’s all about you.”
