I keep thinking to myself sometimes that I don't want a presence on the internet anymore. I don't know if it's just a depressive isolate myself thing or what. Over the last 10 years or so the population of loud assholes with awful opinions on basically everything skyrocketed. I'm just so tired of sharing space with those people and seeing the horrible, ignorant shit they have to say.

Before anyone says "just block them", you have to see that shit before you can block it. It's always been relatively easy for me to spiral and I sometimes feel like just taking myself away from all of it would help. Maybe I just need to get better at brushing shit off and moving on with things but it's tough.

I'm always second guessing myself on what I put out there and it makes me feel like an unfixable weirdo. I'm just fucking tired.

Sometimes when I'm gardening a female black bird will come down and see what I'm doing. I was in the garden yesterday and one came down. After surveying what I'd done, she jumped on the fence and peeped at me for a while.

I'm playing Marvel's Spider-Man 2 at the moment and at the start of the game, on Peter's first day as a teacher a giant Sandman attacks New York (of course). Instead of evacuating the students he goes off to do his Spider-Man shit with Miles because of course he does.

When he gets back, he has to explain to the Principal where he went. He massively flubs it, despite Miles being right there and could've run in and backed him up with an excuse. Or something. Anything. Instead he gets fired.

They could've had Miles go first when Sandman first appears to recon the situation and Peter joins after he's dealt with the students but nah.

I get they wouldn't have been able to have him do the Spider-Man stuff and work as a teacher in the game at the same time, but they could've tried. He did it in the comics for a decent while at least.
