jinhee isn’t a w o r k a h o l i c. he won’t get stuck in the tattoo studio any more second than he’s supposed to be there. doesn’t have anything better in his opinion than going back to the shit out of his apartment and being locked in there. a l o n e. most nights, however, he won’t be able to achieve that in a proper way. sometimes he thinks that having given one of the copies of the key to his best friend was a mistake, but in his defense —– he had done that just in case he lost his own copies, which happens very often, enough to make him snappish. it was no news to know that hansol didn’t know the meaning of “personal space”, but who was jinhee really trying to fool ?? deep inside he worshiped to come to a warm, pleasant & vigorous apartment because of the younger’s presence, but no matter how much he felt at h o m e when that happened, he still had a facade to keep up. ‘ you know .. even if i’m infatuated with the fact that you’re bringing me dinner almost every night, saving some money that i don’t have, i’m so fucking tired of chicken. ’ he stares at the boxes in discomfiture, forcing an expression of pain to his face and leaning his head back on the couch. his words were only meant to irritate hansol as much as he could. ‘ let me buy you dinner next time, ‘kay ?? i’m missing seafood and i never thought i’d say it in my life. ’

NOTHING hansol could come up with explained his attachment to jinhee. the boy was his best friend, but even best friends had limits. it’s not like having a spare key to the other’s house was an invitation to pop up whenever he felt like it. he knew jinhee worked late and he would probably be hungry by the time he came home. hansol liked the fact that his own meals were free, but it wasn’t the same case for his best friend. the peach haired boy skipped down the street happily with the bags of chicken and side dishes swinging in his arms. he let himself into jinhee’s house and set the table quickly knowing the boy would be there in exactly two and half minutes. one thing he loved about jinhee was that he never strayed away from his routine. he was predictable (in the best way possible). that and the fact that hansol knew him like the back of his hand. hearing the front door open he couldn’t wipe the grin off of his face, right on time. “shut up, you love chicken. besides, there are plenty of side dishes here in case you’re really sick of it.” he handed the other some chopsticks, “i hate seafood. but, i guess i’d eat some if you really wanted it. dig in.” hansol was already starting to eat. he usually wasn’t a messy eater but today he hadn’t eaten much, so he paid no attention to how he was eating. there were crumbs on the side of his lip, but the boy hardly noticed as he munched on more chicken.
