BACKGROUND !!
taya was born in liverpool by two young parents. they both knew they were not prepared for a child, but they didnβt want to give her up. once she was born, she was adopted by her grandma on her motherβs side and moved to manchester to live with her
she had a healthy relationship with her parents and grandparents alike. her parents came up to see her when they could and they always made time for her dance recitals and school graduations.
speaking of school, taya was a pretty average student. not the worst by a mile, but definitely not in the top 10. she played field hockey and was a part of clubs to keep herself occupied, but by the end of year 13, she wasnβt sure what to do with her life
hoping that it would come to her soon, she decided to work and save up money. she worked as a receptionist during the day and as a party promoter at night (a gig she got from one of her club owner friends)
at 18, she met cash ( @bcdncws ) and she fell HARD for him. the way he made money bothered her to no end, but she tried to help him make an honest living by helping him with his music
using the small following she had, she promoted the hell out of cashβs music. she bothered every radio host until one decided to actually play him. this was when taya really realized what her calling was: promotion. when she realized this, she gathered the money she had made from the previous two years and put it all into university to get a degree in communications
cash went to prison and taya continued to promote him and go to school. it was hard, being without him for that long, but she got through it
soon enough, he was out and she was happy, telling him to push forward with his music career. within a few years, she was graduated from uni and he was a household name in the uk.
the relationship... wasnβt the best lmaoo. he cheated and didn't appreciate her, she gave him chance after chance, but he didnβt make any change, so she left and moved as far away from him as she could. all the way to la.
she joined an agency that specialized in promotion and began to build her resume, slowly but surely. a few years later, she was apart of cadenceβs official staff as a promotion specialist

obsessive β she isnβt the type of obsessive like peeking through windows at people or anything lmao sheβs more obsessed with her work ?? like once she throws herself into a project she thinks about it day and night until its completely finished and it annoys the FUCK out of a lot of people. sheβs a big ass perfectionist.
