Last week I had the opportunity to test my beloved Noctilux on a Leica SL:

The first impression blew me away - the Nocti fits so perfect onto the SL - the whole combo seems to be lighter than the same with the M10. It is just balanced the way it should be. I walked the streets for the whole day and never had the feeling that it is heavy.

The first shot - see above - blew me away as well. The viewfinder is just incredible and the way the Nocti can be focussed is something else - far from focussing on the M10. It just works - and it works fast.

So my wife an I had a lot of fun with this combo and we both love the the results of our time in Munich with the SL.

After this experience the question is - buying an SL or not.

Das Stufenhochhaus 

Ein letzter Blick auf ein architektonisches Wahrzeichen von Wolfsburg in Detmerode: das Stufenhochhaus des Architekten Baumgartner. Die 172 Wohnungen wurden 1966 fertiggestellt und bezogen.

In 2015 wurde festgestellt, dass das Gebäude nicht mehr sanierungsfähig ist. Daraufhin wurden alle 172 Wohnungen leergezogen - die Mieter von der Eigentümerin NEULAND mit alternativem Wohnraum versorgt und nun in 2018 beginnt der Abriss dieses Wahrzeichens.

Anlass, einen letzten Blick auf das Gebäude zu werfen - mit der LEICA M10 an einem herrlich sonnigen Wintertag. 

Eine ideale Gelegenheit, nachdem bereits die Rohdung stattgefunden hat und das Haus nun dasteht, als ob es gerade fertiggestellt wurde und als nächstes die Außenanlagen angelegt werden.

Ein Wochenende in der Lüneburger Heide - ins Camp Reinsehlen:

Die Morgenstimmung eingefangen mit der Fuji X-T1 und dem Fujinon XF 50-140 f.2,8 - die erste Aufnahme zusätzlich mit dem 2-fach Konverter

Für ist dieses Objektiv so langsam ein Allrounder - sogar für Landschaft. Ideal ist für mich die Kombination mit der X100T. Damit ist dann fast alles abgedeckt, was man braucht.

Vergleich der beiden Objektive:  35mm f 1.4 und 50-140 mm f 2.8

Beide Aufnahmen mit Offenbarende bei gleicher Lichtsituation. Für mich sind beide Linsen ganz hervorragend für Portraitaufnahmen geeignet und zwar beide bei Offenblende
