How do you feel about the latest Link Click chibi episode? Cat Guang is real now.

I'm going insane for a variety of different reasons:

1. Cat Guang!!!!!! Love everything with Cat Guang, glad to see Haoling and I are apparently on the same wavelength there.

2. I'm watching these with a friend as they come out and we have been shredding each episode for hints at the next season.

3. How did they find my draft of the next chapter?! I'm genuinely shocked at how closely the episode lined up with some of the scenes I wrote lol. I must be a prophet or something.

Read Love Bullet and my brain immediately began chewing on an AU.

So I made some sketches for Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling!

It was difficult to figure out what their cupid forms would look like, since there are only four points of reference from Love Bullet so far. Looking forward to more!

Also if you haven't read Love Bullet, I do suggest it! We can always use more yuri. Also girls with guns :)

I've been doing a lot of doodles of Cat!Guang and Dog!Xiaoshi, so it's about time I give the queen her dues. I'm not as used to drawing rabbits, so it's a nice chance to practice, too!

Concept for possible Winds and Waves legendaries! I think it would be fun if they were both horses (specifically, pegasus for Winds and hippocampus for Waves).

I don't have any idea what these two would be named, but I do know their types! The pegasus is a Flying-type and the hippocampus is a Water-type. I thought about giving them secondary typings (maybe the Fairy-type), but I feel the single types tie them more closely to Winds and Waves.

HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY, KAITO!

Super proud of my man for singing for us for 20 years. And I love his new anni song. Here's to 20 more!

I've been a vocaloid fan for over a decade now, and finally got to see the Magical Mirai concert in person last year. Kaito's set was my favorite, of course (definitely no bias there). I bought so much Kaito merch I would be embarrassed if I weren't just so happy to be there. All the vendors definitely knew who my favorite was, though. But there were so many people there dressed in cosplay or with ita bags of their favs, it was amazing. I really hope to go back one day and see it again. Maybe for Kaito's 25th anni?

17. What's your character like when they're nervous?

You wouldn't know Rylan is nervous from his face, but his smaller behaviors would give it away. Generally he's quieter and more flinchy, since he's prone to catastrophizing. Therapy has helped with this, though, so he's getting better at working through it.

21. What colors are most common in your character's wardrobe?

Rylan has a lot of professional clothes, so his wardrobe is mostly browns with some white or black. He does try to vary it with some green button-ups or ties, though. They match his eyes.

6. Does your character get sick a lot?

Kai is largely immune to illnesses and poisons. Even as a kid she didn't get sick often because she rarely left the house and her family had maids to keep everything very, very clean.

That said, while she's immune to illness, she is not immune to the consequences of her actions. Especially when said actions are forgoing sleep for several days and downing 12 high-caffeine energy drinks in less than three hours.

Such a situation happens with worrying regularity.

28. Are/would your character's parents be proud of them?

Rylan's parents disowned him and think he killed himself :)

7. What is/was your character's best subject in school?

Skylar is on the lower end of average at school. He gets by just fine, he's never called out by teachers or people worried about his grades, but he won't win any praise with them, either (and certainly no scholarships).

That said, of his average grades, social studies is probably the highest. If he'd been able to go to a normal college, he probably would've majored in psychology or some other degree that let him do social work. Instead he is stuck at war school making sure his friends aren't killed/don't kill each other.

8. Think about something traumatic that's happened to your character. How has it affected them?

Skylar's had a rather normal life, and the most traumatic experiences (from before the plot, at least) happened before he was old enough to remember. His father died in an accident before he was born and his mother shortly after due to complications during childbirth. So Skylar was left in the care of his elderly grandmother and only knew that life.

That being said, it wasn't like his parents' deaths never affected him. He got teased pretty regularly about it when he was younger and "parents' day" events were nightmares to deal with. God forbid a teacher ask students to "draw their family" because everyone would always ask why he was only drawing his nana.

Sometimes he would hate his parents for abandoning him. Other times he'd hear stories of friends' terrible parents and feel selfishly glad his were only the ideal he'd made in his head. But these are problems that cropped up less and less as he got older.

Hey there! For the ask game, let's do 2 for Rylan, 18 for Fira & Skylar, and 10 for all four of the MCs :^)

2. How would/does your character feel about being picked up?

Rylan is rather tall at 6'2" and decently fit, so while he has no strong opinions on being picked up, he would be very confused. Like the pictures of those large dogs being picked up with looks of utter bafflement on their faces. That's him.

Hilariously, while most of his teammates are rather weak physically, Fira is incredibly strong and can lift Rylan no problem. Fira is over a foot short than him at 5' nothing but she can carry him around in a bridal carry no problem.

18. You know how in cartoons when somebody has a little angel and devil on their shoulders telling them what to do? Would your character be the angel or the devil?

Skylar is 100% the angel, there isn't a single bad bone in his body. Poor baby is cripplingly incapable of causing harm to others. Not only would he encourage you to do good for others, but he'd also be gently encouraging you to care for yourself, reminding you to drink water and be kind to yourself if you mess up.

Fira would be the devil, but not the "whispers in your ear to sin and do evil" kind of devil. She'd be more of an instant gratification demon, encouraging you to act on instinct without thinking or considering consequences. That hot drink you just made? Go ahead and drink it, it smells good. Bully insulted your friend? Punch them, they deserve it.

10. Are there any colors your character really isn't a fan of?

Fira dislikes dull colors. She likes being expressive and dull browns and greys are just... Kinda sad. There's no life or personality in them.

Skylar will never buy very bright, neon colors for himself, though he doesn't necessarily hate them. He just doesn't like standing out. Pastels fit him better.

Rylan doesn't care for red. Normally it doesn't bother him, but red paint splatter or a red liquid spilled across the floor will sometimes make him leave a room.

Kai has an irrational hatred for the color orange. She inherited this from me.

This was supposed to release for 091305, but I went a little overboard, so... here it is, a few days late but here nonetheless.

I loved the designs of the cosplays in the first episode of the Bridon arc, and that episode is fitting for Cheng Xiaoshi's Deathday... celebration? Fandom-wide mourning? Idk. Also, I really wanted to see Cheng Xiaoshi in the female lead's outfit. I know they played it off as a joke in the show, but I think he would look good in it. And then he and Lu Guang have a couple's cosplay, so...

I also really love the story the comic artist told about traveling to see a meteor shower in the woods. I decided to incorporate it in this piece, too.
