I like to think the inconsistency in the kids height is canon to the au. Shadow keeps forgetting how tall he made himself when shifting so boom: inconsistent height. It’s part of what tips Red off to who he is

haha I love the idea of Shadow forgetting how tall the kid is, or even just forgetting that Hylians can't normally change their height at will!

Working on fics set during the manga time frame like...

Do I allude to them having backpacks to carry their camping gear / Vio's book / weapons and tools they aren't using, because that makes logical sense (even though we never see them having bags in canon)?

Do I do what canon does and handwave it, allowing items to disappear and reappear without explanation as necessary?

Do I take this one panel as indication that their hats are canonically bags of holding and that's where they keep all their stuff when not in use???

Been reading through the tags on my last post and it is so sweet seeing the amount of love that the fandom has for Blue's character

Been trying to figure out what was happening with Blue and Green in the ShadesOfRed au and got carried away imagining what would have happened if the maidens had sent the fairy to Blue rather than Red. I think in this version she is able to get there and warn him just before he gets frozen, and they end up looking for the others (and finding Green in the desert...?)

You know, I have this headcanon for myself and my own small AU, but whenever the four (Technically 5 if you include Shadow) Links do merge then he (they? As in a group?) has a habit of saying "We" or "they" and other people that don't know just stare at him confused. Would probably get into some awkward situations lol.

Yeah I've seen a few AUs where they merge at the end of the manga and end up being very confused/ causing a lot of confusion about pronouns! Personally I like to headcanon that they stay split at the end of the manga, but I really enjoy seeing these AUs because everyone seems to have different headcanons and bring new ideas to it!

That short comic at the end of the manga when Shadow lies on the internet? Yeah that lives in my head rent free
