If Allah knows there is anything good in your hearts,

يُؤْتِكُمْ خَيْرًا مِّمَّا أُخِذَ مِنكُمْ

وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

Penilaian

Kita tidak akan pernah mencapai kesempurnaan, itulah keniscayaan yang harus kita akui. Untuk itu, mengharapkan itu ada pada orang lain pun akan sulit. Untuk itu, menginginkan sesuatu yang sempurna dari manusia juga sulit.

Sebab itu, ruang penerimaan kitalah yang sebijaknya kita luaskan. Ruang yang sanggup menerima upaya orang lain untuk terus berbenah, ruang yang selalu bisa memaafkan. Ataupun jika kita tidak bisa memaafkan, paling tidak kita bisa berdamai. 

Kadang, ukuran yang kita buat terlalu berlebih. Bahkan secara tidak sadar, ukuran itupun tidak bisa kita capai tapi kita menjadikannya tolok ukur untuk orang lain. Kita juga lupa untuk tidak menilai orang lain secara parsial, melainkan menyeluruh. Saat satu saja ada hal yang keliru darinya, kita menutup mata atas semua kebaikannya yang lain. 

Bukankah itu tidak adil?
