"So? What do you think?" Stiles asked, his knee bouncing up and down as Lydia blinked at the screen in front of them. She knew she was making him nervous but she just wanted to take a few moments to appreciate his skill with not only writing, but acting and editing. Comedy sketches was one of his biggest parts of his channel and when he asked her to take part in a collab with him, she couldn't tell him no.
"I really... it's put together beautifully, Stiles. And it's funny." Lydia found herself admitting, a smile pulling at her lips. No, it wasn't the first time they'd collabed but it was the first time she'd let him write her into one of his sketches. "And heartfelt." She added, dropping the window down to check the progress of it's upload.
That's when she noticed that the bloopers were also edited together and he'd uploaded it before calling her into his office. She couldn't tell if she felt more annoyed about the bloopers or that it meant he probably hadn't slept the night before. He was passionate about his work, much like many of their fellow youtubers. It was an art to them.
"You didn't sleep, did you?" She asked and he scratched the back of his neck, coughing out a reply as he took control of the mouse and went to his subscriptions. "Oh look," He teased gently. "Allison uploaded a new video." Stiles muttered. She was wrapping up a series for a game she'd been doing a let's play through a game called Uncharted 4. Of course, she didn't really understand any of it. She usually only watched her's to give her the views and well, she liked her. She always watched everything Stiles put up, too, even if he'd shown her rough cuts for whatever reason.
Her voice was so soft and she was quite adorable when she got upset about something or another. To say that she had a crush was an understatement. And she knew she wasn't alone in that feeling. She and Stiles teased one another about it constantly. The only difference was that AllieAplus actually knew who Stilestion was, she didn't know a thing about her, lydsionic.
Stiles was already absorbed into the video, jotting down notes to make comments at the end. Stepping from the room, she went into her own where her camera was already set up from a previous recording. Glancing in the mirror, she checked her make up and hair. Despite it being later in the day, it was still intact.
Turning the lights and camera on, Lydia sat down in front of the camera. "Hey queenies, it's Lydia. Today I wanted to do a simple vlog. Just a discussion. What do you do when you have a crush? Even worse, a crush on someone who doesn't even know you exist? Well, high school Lydia would've told you to get under someone new to forget about them." She paused and shook her head with a laugh. "But I'd like to think I've grown up. Got a little bit more mature? Oh! Even worse, my best friend also has a crush on this girl."
Ten more minutes of mumbling and giving advice to not only her viewers, but herself, she did a quick edit of and added the skip where she'd said Allison's name so that it wasn't there any longer before uploading it with her usual outro. Without a second thought, she clicked her own subscriptions and went to Allison's new video, to watch it on her own, settling in for ten minutes of being confused but enamored by her.
