“Don’t act like you don’t know me.”
Estë took a deep breath, turning to look at Irmo. "I know you, Irmo. Sometimes I wonder what has happened of late, for often you do not seem like the Vala I knew before we entered Arda."
"Melkor, how...how are you here?" Estë said quietly, fearful in the face of the Ainu. She had seen what he did to the Children, and believed she had every reason to be afraid. Warily, the Valie took a step back and folded her hands in front of her. -healerofhurts
He raised an eyebrow, looking at Estë sideways. This would not prove much to deal with, he felt.
"That’s beside the point, Estë."
—
"Leave?" Estë questioned, crossing her arms simply. "And where are you going? I cannot allow you to wander about freely."
'As if I could actually stop him.' she thought, now only hoping to keep those in Lorien safe.
He looked at her again, instead looking at her forward rather than from the side. “To do as I will.” Whether or not that included the peopel of Lorien was… well, it was to be decided. Melkor was going by the seat of his pants just a bit.
"And what would that be?" Estë asked, as firmly as was possible for her. Which, in reality, was not all that firm. She was a gentle person, and her words tended to be soft regardless of what she wished. Estë watched him carefully, arms folded.

"That’s beside the point, Estë."
"What is rightfully mine," he replied, looking her back in the eyes, fearless. "And if you don’t mind, I’ll leave,” he said dismissively.

She tried to appear confident, however it seemed fake and hollow. Estë did not realize this, however, and looked to Melkor, hesitantly meeting his eyes.
"And what is the point?"

2: Our muses are trapped in a wine cellar for several hours.
"Well, it seems we are locked in," Estë said with a resigned sigh as she pushed yet again on the cellar door. It did not budge. Luckily, they at least had brought a torch in order to pick out the wine the celebration. They would be welcoming Olorin back to Valinor, and with him he brought the little hobbits who had gone beyond what was expected of them.
Estë folded her arms and walked back down the stairs, looking over to Nessa. “You wouldn’t have any ideas, would you?”
Nessa looked up at the door and sighed. “Maybe a few but I don’t think Manwe would appreciate having half the floor blown up.” Nessa replied. She looked around the cellar and pulled out another bottle. “Well it’s going to be a little while before any of the others end up noticing we’re taking a bit longer than normal.” She said as she set the bottle down.
"If you want we can celebrate a bit earlier. Have a few drinks before we get ‘rescued’ by the others. It’ll be a bit of fun."
Estë sighed softly, more out of annoyance than anger or frustration. Indeed, Tulkas and Oromë and the others here today would be more interested in whatever task or enjoyment was at hand as opposed to Nessa and Estë's whereabouts. Maybe she could count on Námo or Irmo to notice, but even they had their hands full with the coming of the Ring Bearer to Valinor.
She quirked an eyebrow at the suggestion. "Are you suggesting we drink, Nessa? Drinking has never been something I've partaken in in great amount. You haven't seen what it does to your fana's liver, have you?"
Varda, Nienna, Estë
I will bed Estë because as a healer she must know lot of thing about…
I can’t wed the spouse of my lord, so i wed Nienna.
I’m sorry, I have to behead Varda but… Manwë will kill me!
A faint, almost unnoticeable blush came to the Valie’s cheeks. “I…I would suppose so. Did you consider who my husband is?”
"It was just an ask my lady. I don’t want to have any trouble with your husband." said Eönwë thinking that maybe he will have some terrible nightmares soon.
Estë waved a hand. He seemed to have missed her point, and she would rather not bring it back up. "It is alright, Eonwë,"
However, she quickly added, "I would hope this stays as but questions of curiosity."

"I just want you to be happy."
"I get lost in your eyes."
"Do you love me?"
"I love you with all my heart."
"You are like oxygen. I can't live without you in this world."

Este by ~Theresa Lucia Brander
Estë the gentle, healer of hurts and of weariness, is [Lórien’s] spouse. Grey is her raiment; and rest is her gift. She walks not by day, but sleeps upon an island in the tree-shadowed lake of Lórellin. From the fountains of Irmo and Estë all those who dwell in Valinor draw refreshment; and often the Valar come themselves to Lórien and there find repose and easing of the burden of Arda.
—J.R.R. Tolkien, The Silmarillion, “Valaquenta”
"I’m gonna use you as my pillow, okay?" -healerofhurts
Ulmo’s eyes widened in surprise when Este suddenly laid her head on his shoulder. He didn’t mind her using him as a pillow - it was just unexpected. No one had ever done that before, and certainly not a fellow Vala. She’d recently finished giving him a tour of the gardens, this being his first visit in a long time), and they were sitting down enjoying the light shifting through the leaves. She must have gotten tired. He stayed as still as he possibly could, barely breathing, unsure what exactly to do. Should he shift somehow to make her more comfortable?
The Sun was almost rising, and Estë was exhausted. Wandering the Gardens all day had been pleasant, but it was not something she did all that often. Or at least, not to that extent.
She rested her head on his shoulder, glad for the company. Estë grew lonely, with only Maiar and Irmo for company on a daily basis. She was so tired....she hoped she wasn't making Ulmo uncomfortable, but she hoped to head to Lorellin soon. "Ease, Ulmo," Estë chided, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I am simply tired, my friend, and I apologize if I have made you uncomfortable."
"Are you really going to name it that? Poor thing!" ~ValarianDancer
"What? Irmo thought it a fine name, as do I. It’s not as if we know exactly what our child will do with their life."
"Irmo is half asleep from staying up these past few weeks. It just seems a bit wordy Este. Most of us don’t have names past two maybe three syllables. Six is a bit much."
"But it's Valarian!" Estë protested, crossing her arms as she looked at Nessa, slightly annoyed but not truly showing it. "Their Quenya name would be shorter, surely."
"You sound tired." //healerofhurts
"I cannot imagine why…" The words left his mouth sounding more harsh than he intended. He exhaled and brought his hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. "Forgive me, that was unkind…I am just…" He paused. "So tired."
A smile graced Estë's face, small though it may be. Her hands folded in front of her, and she spoke smoothly. "It is alright, dear Child. There is space in Lorien for all who would require rest, all you need to do is simply ask."
(meme) "P-please... d-do not l-leave me now..."
"I do not plan on it, dear," Estë said with her reassuring, calm voice, the one she used with many a frightened Elf. She rested a hand on the young Elf’s shoulder, her fingertips glowing faintly white as she turned her mind towards the various injuries on her body. "What is your name, little one? You will be alright, simply keep your focus and your hope."
She seemed to calm a little at the Valië’s touch and reassurance. "It’s, ah… it’s R-Rossiel."
I am in the hands of the Gentle Lady, the minstrel reminded herself. That is as good as safe. Few in the stories are the hurts she has ever been unable to heal.
"Be at ease, Rossiel," Estë murmured, the soft glow about her hands growing. Her mind was focused on the healing, focused on stopping the girl from hurting. Seeing the Children in pain always moved her to pity, and now Estë worked quickly but carefully.
Taking a few leaves in her hands, of a type found only in Lorien, Estë ground them and began to ready a salve. "You will be fine, dear Rossiel, if you stay calm and relaxed." There was a quality of calmness and ease to the Valie's voice, a quality that encouraged rest and serenity.

"That’s the cheesiest pickup line I’ve ever heard."
”Well, I thought it was funny,” Estë said, frowning. “One of the Maia heard it from one of the Elves, it seemed a silly joke. Apparently the Elf had been serious.”
Irmo smiled to her. “It was funny dear, just a bit cheesy. The children aren’t always the best at trying to woo one another. The other day I saw one of them try to give his love blackened flowers.”
Estë chuckled, covering her mouth with a hand. "Now, that is something I would have liked to see. Blackened flowers?" she shook her head lightly, laughter fading.
