We had so much fun going to see a first run movie at one of the last Drive-In theaters in America! Flanked by our beautiful mountains, it was so amazing and so much fun, this is going to become a regular event on our calendar. Josh gave me dozens of beautiful antique orange roses for Mother's Day. They are my favorite color and were absolutely stunning! Want a little help passing the time while in quarantine??? How about helping a study on Designing Assistive Technology to Aid Knitters! A first year PhD student from University of Washington named Taylor Gotfrid is recruiting for an interview study. She works in the Make4All lab with Jennifer Mankoff. She is currently conducting an IRB approved interview study about designing assistive technology to aid knitters with motor, cognitive, or visual impairments. They are conducting interviews to identify some of the challenges that knitters with an impairment experience and to try to come up with technologies to address some of these difficulties and improve the knitting experience. All responses to the interview would be anonymous and participants would receive a $15 Amazon gift card as compensation.
