Specty is currently busy writing some....thing? You can't really tell what it is exactly, but you know he's writing something.

((uh so things have gone downhill cus of the virus going around and my county has gone into lockdown. School is closed for two weeks(so far. And right now this is the second week), and I haven't been able to draw at all thanks to my left shoulder hurting like hell.
((to pile onto that, my parents are being, excuse my language to my Kinda Cool parents, Assholes. My aunt and uncle are fighting- my other uncle had a miscarriage...
((life is bad right now.
((so, I had about four animations planned for this blog. RPG, Drift Away, Helpless, and (unknown). But thanks to my shoulder I can't do that anymore. It makes me really sad.
((I even had a couple of animatics planned for the Specter Knight blog, AND I'm working on a comic for me and my friend's shovel Knight verse.
((I'm not gonna be able to do much until my shoulder feels better and all this blows over
((like all of you, probably, I need a distraction to help me out.

Luan, what's the last thing you remember?
"That... amulet, a lady in red, and...Donovan."
Luan coughed.
"I've never seen him like that before. He looked...off. the image is still hazy, but, he didn't look like himself."
Well, this was unexpected. Luan survived that night? Tinker and Plague had told her that the potion would only send her to previous events, not to an alternate timeline. She still didn’t fully understand all of this time travel nonsense and just decided to roll with the punches.
“Excuse me, Luan? I’m Shield Knight. You’ve indeed been dead for the past year or so. I don’t know if you fully remember that night, but the amulet was “cursed”, so to say. All three of us, me, you, Donovan, we all suffered greatly. As unlikely as it seems, you happened to get the least horrible fate”
"Ah!-"
Luan hopped back, still holding onto his wounds. "You!- wait," He then seemed to quiet down, his voice taking more of a worried tone. "Is he alright? Besides the horrible fate?...I've only been awake again for minutes yet the valley seems so different. It feels like I shouldn't be here."
“I do not know his current whereabouts, but I can tell you what happened to him. He would have succumbed to his injuries just like you, but a powerful sorceress made him into her undead servant. She rules the land while he serves as an enforcer and assassin, but not completely willingly.”
"not completely? He would never just...give up his service to just anyone. Gah...I knew something was off about him- even when we started the climb up that blasted tower."
"No need to tell me where he is. If he's...well- Undead, I think I may have a idea."
"Listen. If you happen to see Donovan again, Please try to talk to him. He's always needed someone to at least listen to him. Normally, I would fill that role, but... I feel like I won't have much time here. I've been getting weaker by the second. I know that he may blurt out something that may hurt, or try to push you away, but just keep talking to him. He'll cave eventually."
“Believe me, I’ve tried. He blamed me for what happened, but has slowly been coming to terms with the truth. You’d know him better than I, but I think we can both agree he’s very determined when he sets his mind to something. It’s probably what’s kept him from fully falling under her control like so many others. He even retained enough willpower for an almost-successful coup, but sacrificed a chance at freedom to rescue your son. Reize was his name, wasn’t it? The boy is a bit reckless, but he’ll make a fine adventurer someday”
"Heh...so he's grown up, hasn't he." Luan spoke proudly, softly. "And he's lived up to his promise. I hope Reize takes after him, in all honesty. My boy has an incredible godfather. I wonder if Donovan has taken him under his wings? He's always rejected the thought, but I'm sure he'll end up doing so anyways."

He moved his arm away, then quickly covered it back up with a gasp.
"Dead? For a year? No-no no no that can't... that doesn't-... But these wounds...they're fresh!-"
